- ATTENTION: I will be doing a collection update very soon since it's been nearly 3 years since this was uploaded! I have many more I-Dogs now and the next video will be even better than this one. I plan to upload it on this video's three year annaversary, which is 2/9/24.
The time has officially come. Considering the popularity of I-Dog has risen greatly within the past few weeks, I think now would be a very appropriate time for a collection update AND an epic idog dance party light show. I have exactly 70 I-Dogs excluding the iZ, only two of which are duplicates (plain white amp’d & cotton Candy 2007).
iZ and the Room Tech Beingz aren't really marketed as I-Dogs, but I thought they were close enough to them to throw in the video. Mijam Wassup is marketed as I-Spin in Japan which is why they're included.
I started collecting in around 2008/2009, what really interested me in idogs was their stunning modern look, how many variations and colors they had, how their lights looked, how they moved, their songs, and how their pitches varied so often. My first I-Dog ever was my blue flowers I-Dog Amp'd and my latest I-Dog ever was my second cotton candy 2007 I-Dog.
This was a ton of fun to make, and took a lot of time wiring up all the speakers I needed to plug in haha, but in the end it was all worth it. You ever wondered what 70 I-Dogs in the dark looks like? Well wonder no more. Really hope y'all enjoy this!

Gosh, it would be a *dream* of mine to own this many Ipets! In contrast, I have only one at the moment, my 1st Gen 2005 white Idog named Waffles, although I'm looking into getting him a friend. Well-played, and I hope to own more of these unique toys in the future.

Wow thats a REALLY awesome and unique collection!! I wouldve never guessed anyone collected I-Dogs and had no idea there were so many variations... I forgot they even existed until I came across a black I-Dog from 2005 at goodwill today and scooped it up for just a few bucks, the battery compartment was heavily corroded and it didnt work at all but after cleaning out all the acid and corrosion on the contacts for about an hour, it works good as new! Was planning on selling it but after reading through the manuals online and seeing all of its awesome features in action/interacting with it I'm definitely hanging onto it now. I always thought Apple made these but i guess it was Sega all along! Glad I was able to save this little piece of 2000s pop culture :D
and doggo is in good hands now; rescued, cleaned, and happily fed! As a kid I had the one at 1:23 in green and orange lol

Especially when the Blue Happy Version Sega I-Dog made the White Sega Idog very jealous and probably *angery* when he said in context that he's the one in the song cover, good thing he just roasted him at that part during the dance party lmao
I do highly hope for you to have every I-Dog that exists in the future for your collection and when you do, it'll be a dream come true for the both of us for sure because we're BFFs and of course, the best Idog collector duos in the whole damn planet together!!!

I will definitely still continue to collect all of every I-Dog produced as well and I currently have a total of 94 I-Dogs in my collection and still collecting since I got more new ones recently.
This will take it to the next level of the I-Dog becoming popular again at this point and I'm sure everyone will still remember them as "The Best I-Pod Accessory Made," no doubt about that.

Oh yeah, ever since kkclue's idog video was released, suddenly all the idogs on ebay are selling faster and people are bidding more for them (I saw an ifish go for a whopping $140!) also my idog videos are getting more views and comments lately.

That’s my blue 2005, he’s always had a bright blue light lol. It took about the whole day when you combine planning and setting up and getting everyone who wasn’t at their best mood to their best mood and changing batteries

I am in Nostalgia Nirvana! I fondly remember the I-Dog and the other spin off toys (I-Cat, I-Turtle, I-Fish and I-Cy) but I didn't have an iPod back then until 2009 or '10 and I would have loved this amazing icon of a toy! Sadly my iPod Nano and iPod touch are now in tech heaven but still this toy to me is still an icon from 2007!

It’s actually not hard to turn all of them off at all lol
All you have to hold their noses down each for the certain amount of seconds each one has before they each do the noise and LED animations they do when they turn off when you’re done playing with them to save battery life and their moods.
Original 2005 model I-Dogs take 6-7 secs to turn off, Original 2007 model I-Dogs take 3 secs to turn off, Japanese Sega I-Dogs take 4-5 secs to turn off, I-Dog Amp’ds take 3 secs to turn off, I-Dog Dances take 3 secs to turn off, I-Dog Soft Speaker take 3 secs to turn off, I-Dog Pups take 2 secs to turn off, I-Dog Clips take 2 secs to turn off, I-Cats take 3 secs to turn off, I-Fish takes 3-4 secs to turn off, I-Cy/I-Penguins take 3-4 secs to turn off, and the I-Turtle takes 3 secs to turn off.

Well, the blue and red versions DO exist on regular i-Cats, but they are EXTREMELY rare. The only guy I have heard of that has a red one is Sterling Andrews. He got really lucky. Although, there may be some private collectors (or people who got them when they were on store shelves) that have them. I’m sorry, I kinda assumed, lol. XD
