Saw the Police on the re-form tour at Twickenham and they were great.... but remote. A similarly massive band show them how it should be done. Duran are unique. Am reminded of Beach Boys. Hit after hit, but still relevant, as in still producing great music and still getting people excited. You get a great warm feeling with Duran Duran. Just brilliant.
I was at this concert last night and it was AMAZING!!! this was their closing song and I cannot believe how good Simon still sounds, absolute studio grade vocals live and how good the whole band is too
I read a review that said 'Duran Duran has an 'un-live' sound'. Don't care! I want to hear them as I know them from listening for the past 40 years, not some improv. Simon's voice is fantastic no matter what
