Love this etude!!! Prob one of the most underrated Chopin etudes
Yes, totally underrated and has a unique sound
@@Octavio12341000 it kind of reminds me of the chopin op 10 no 5
Yes, I would say that these two are just as unique
"havent played this piece over decade, so i missed note or two"
Don't flex on us mortals Josh
Big F to us all
Very glad to see someone as knowledgeable and esteemed as yourself has taken the time to give us a tutorial on this rather underappreciated etude. Thank you very much Professor!
(Also nice haircut)
One of the best pianists on earth
I have your recording of all the Chopin etudes, I guess released in 2011. Slight imperfections here and there but the overall technique and pure musicality are outstanding - you never seem to allow the overall line escape you. On the record cover you look very young.
I've been waiting for this one! Thank you, Josh!
this helps for a number of other pieces as well! Thanks Josh!
Thanks so much Josh, a truly valuable blog with really professional advises which inspired me to start my own one...
I love the Chopin etudes. Josh have you any tutorials on Liszt transcendental etudes?
damn they are just so incredibly hard
Josh great as always, very clear explanation 😁
Thank you this helped alot
Brilliant as usual. Thanks!
Ah yes, I have waited for this. Thanks!
I would love it if you could please take the time to show us Chopins’ Etüde f - moll Op 10 and 9? That left hand is a killer to play...

Lovely.
Bummed there's no full recording of you playing this with polish.
I believe there is - he recorded all the etudes many years ago. I have it on Apple Music.
Wow, I am learning this at the moment. What a coincidence
great tutorial josh I was wondering if you were planning on uploading pro practices for the transcendental etudes
Would you please so kind to explain me how I can learn to read notes for the piano without having lesson in music schools. Can I train my skills through UA-cam videos or should I buy me some books. What do you think ? Thank you
There's a lot of examples on Pinterest. It helped me a lot together with these tutorials of Josh. 🍀 good luck
Hey Josh, thanks for this video! Could you maybe consider doing a ProPractice video on Ravel's Sonatine, if you have learned it? Thanks! 🎼
I feel like all your video volume is very low compared to other youtubers. Increasing the overall volume is much appreciated.
Hey Josh , you're one of my inspiration to play piano, do yo have love's sorrow rachmaninoff tutorial ?
Hi Josh! How did place you a camera on the ceiling? and thank you for promoting classical music!
p.s. 3d E note above middle C is a bit out of tune ;)
Hi Josh ,I purchased a pro practice video and the Beethoven first tempo of the Pathetic sonata a couple of years ago ,but I didn’t find them on my computer .How can I recover them?thanks a lot
