I agree! AMEN IN JESUS NAME! God bless you Liz 🙏❤🔥
Good word, Liz! One glaring oversight in the Body of Christ is understanding that the Lord is no respecter of persons which includes age. All the aspects of his Grace apply to all including the elderly. When considering the elderly it's so easy to fall into the trap of "well, they've lived a full life" or "maybe it's time for them to go home to be with the Lord" without asking Jesus what His vision is for the person's life. My mother is 89 and has been struggling with difficult health issues since January. One day it occurred to me I hadn't really asked for the Lord's Word concerning my mom's life. Sure I asked Holy Spirit to heal her and comfort her. But then I felt He was impressing on my heart that He isn't finished with her here on Earth yet. "For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope" kept resonating within me. Why can't the Lord bring complete healing to an 89-year-old as a testimony to His healing authority? We need to always remember that no matter what age a person might be they may avail themselves of all the Lord has for us by His Grace. Remember, when we pray for anyone, but definitely the elderly, seek the Lord's Word for the person's life in order to come alongside God's will and vision for their lives.
I pray for Jesus's justice in his new government of United States!!!
Why do you always say Holy Spirit instead of “The” Holy Spirit?
Hi Janie, thank you so much for your question! It is just a personal choice for me in relating to Him as the third Person of the Godhead. Here are some scriptures talking about Him as a Person:
"And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you." John 14:17
"But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you." John 16:7
"When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me. All that belongs to the Father is mine; this is why I said, ‘The Spirit will tell you whatever he receives from me.’ " John 16:13-15
Much love and blessings to you!
Thank you Liz, I didn’t mean for that comment to go thru I was hiking and listening to you and was just wondering but then later you did say “The Holy Spirit “ I was just thinking that’s the proper way to address him. and I have heard some other teachers who are not scripture based leave off “The” also..
Blessings to you too and thank you for always inspiring me with my walk
With Jesus.
@@janiedavila9160 , He is a person, so to call Him “the…..” doesn’t fit as well!
