This is the best sounding exhaust for new 86. But how much of that sound is design and how much is use of titanium? Can it be replicated with stainless steel?
How's the drone inside the cabin? The build quality, looks, and sound outside the car of my Remark Elite are phenomenal.... especially for the price. But the drone inside is overwhelming.
When I got my tomei on my wrx, I thought it was too loud and out there. But after just a couple of days, I fell in love with the sound. Tomei kills it every time
Just installed one on my 2020 BRZ. Haven’t seen any videos or anything of it on the first gens, but man is it pretty loud. Sounds amazing! Highly recommend
You havent gone uel? I still remember getting the speedfactory set for my sold off gt86 but replaced the uel and front pipe because they broke due to high temp flow restriction catted, with catless tomei uel and hks frontpipe - that sounded merciful to the neighbours but just pure fun on the streets passing people
Tomei exhausts are a cheap grade 4 taiwanese titanium that tomei USA is making a huge profit from. It is no longer the same amazing quality from tomei in Japan. You want a best titanium then go source a true grade 1 pure titanium exhaust from Japan, not this bullshit tomei usa product
@@aboosh86 I highly recommend fujitsubo. They have a reputation of the highest quality exhaust maker in Japan, they even make the OEM exhaust for Nissan gtr. I also recommend hks as well.

I'm all for constructive criticism, but again it boils down to how you go about it. Instead of threatening to unsubscribe, you could instead say that you'd appreciate to see different content on my UA-cam shorts instead of recycled content from long form videos. The reality is that shorts are a great way to capture a new audience that may not have seen the full videos.
Update:
Just got the exhaust installed.
ITS FREAKING AMAZING
I installed mine a week ago and can confirm it is the best exhaust, I absolutely love it
this is the exhaust I've been looking for my gr86. As long as the drone isn't bad... might have to cop this lol.
Sounds sick bro
That is awesome! How is the plastic around the exhaust holding up with the exhaust?
Finnaly got it. ❤😂

The headers??
Amazing 🤩

Tiniest amount with the stock setup, but completely tolerable.
i just installed the awe touring w/ a jdl catted uel header on my first gen 86 20MY and man it's loud😅
How’s the drone compared to the AWE track? I had the track and it was too much for me so I got the touring but I love tomei so I’m curious lol
What's louder this or the AWE Touring catback?
I think the AWE is louder.
Will this exhaust fit on 2012 models? 🤔
Yes it will!

What is the exact naming?
I like the way it sounds when the rpms are higher but I’m not a fan when they’re low

I'll be tossing a uel on there to see how it sounds.

Interesting, this is the first time I'm hearing of this. What companies do you recommend?

@@aboosh86 never had one but I think it's good quality as well. Most JDM exhausts are good
Sounds amazing. Now I need a GR86 lol
Do it!
Tomei advertises this to weigh 31lbs
Other sites 24lbs AND 18.7lbs.
Anyone weigh this to confirm the total weight?
👊
Nice exhaust, by the way any update on RTV problem? Kinda scared to get gr86
Damn, this sounds better than your new exhaust tbh 🔥🔥🔥
Silly me thinking car sounds “disgusting” because it had an exhaust leak
tomei finally decided to come out with dual exits... well I aint got my 86 no mo~
Is this the loudest exhaust on the GR86? If not, what is?
Ordered this today for my BRZ!!! So excited to tune my first car ever
Link please
Love it!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this legal in germany?
No clue 😅
no
I wish they made a AWD version of this vehicle.
Do the uel headers and you’ll get the wrx sounds
Every short that overlaps with a full length video and wastes space in my notification feed, is one step closer to losing a subscriber.
