After Junggigo, Lel, Mad Clown & Yozo, and Afternight Project Crayon Pop is joining
KBS2TV’s high teen drama High School Love On’s OST. One of the members,
Cho Ah made a guest appearance in the beginning of the drama and is now keeping
the relationship by participating in the OST.
“C'mon C'mon” is a simple funky retro dance song that suits Crayon Pop well.
Fractal, the very person who came up with the mash up of Rain and Tae JinAh and
the first generation musician of electronica in Korea composed the song.
With simple but addictive rhythm and Crayon Pop’s cute and cunning vocals,
the song can be said as K-pop with new wave which is getting on the global trend
once more in these days. It’s a song that could be done only by Crayon Pop.

クレヨンポップが、チョン・ギゴ、lel（ルル）、マッドクラウン＆ヨジョ、
Afternight Projectに続いて5番目に、KBS2TVハイティーン成長ドラマ
[ハイスクールラブオン]のOSTに参加することになった。特に、
メンバーのひとりのチョアはドラマの初めに友情出演もしている。
今回公開された音源「トゥントゥントゥントゥン・トゥドゥントゥン」は、クレヨンポップ
とよく似合うハツラツとしたンプルな雰囲気のレトロダンス風の曲で、先日大きな人気を呼
んだ‘ビジナ（Rain+テ•ジナ）’マッシュアップの張本人であり、韓国エレクトロニカ1世代の
ミュージシャンである‘フラクタル’の曲だ。
簡潔だが中毒性のあるリズムにクレヨンポップのメンバーたちのハツラツとしたボーカルが
ダサくならないように支えてくれるサウンドのクオリティは、全世界に再流行しているニュ
ーウェーブの色を加味した新たなk-popのスタイルでもあり、クレヨンポップだからこそ消
化できる曲でもある。
크레용팝이 정기고, lel(를),매드클라운 & 요조, Afternight Project 에 이어 다섯 번째로
KBS2TV 하이틴 성장드라마인 하이스쿨 러브온의 OST에 참여하게 되었다.
특히 멤버 중 한명인 초아는 극 초반 드라마 우정출연에 이어 OST 까지 이어지는
인연을 이어가고 있다.
이번에 공개한 음원 “뜬뜬뜬뜬 뜨든뜬”은 크레용팝과 잘 어울리는 통통 튀며
심플한 분위기의 레트로 댄스풍 곡으로, 얼마 전 큰 인기를 끌었던 비진아(비+태진아)
매쉬업의 장본인이며 한국 일렉트로니카의 1세대 뮤지션인 프랙탈이 작업한 곡이다.
간결하지만 중독성 있는 리듬 위에 크레용팝 멤버들의 발랄하면서도 앙큼한 보컬을
전혀 촌스럽지 않게 받쳐주는 사운드 퀄리티는 전세계적으로 다시 유행을 타고 있는
뉴웨이브의 색깔을 가미한 새로운 k-pop 의 유형이라 볼수 있으며,

Really love the beginning part, especially their cute lil shake dance and first verse by Soyul at 0:22. Her voice really suits this type of song. And i'm suprised with Geummi and Ellin cuz they sounds so good too. This is perfect song for Crayon Pop. A mix with retro and cutesy feel.

Discovered Crayon Pop by accident but absolutely fell in love with them! Love their quirky dance moves and unusual outfits. Sad they didn't get more respect in the K-pop industry and even more bummed that they are no longer together. Like how this video just shows them kinda behind the scenes recording and in normal clothing, lol. They are all very talented and beautiful with Ellin capturing my gaze first and foremost but there is just something about Way that strongly attracts me to her. This song has a real good vibe to it, but then again, most Crayon Pop songs do. Love their music!!

Actually, Crayon Pop have a very nice vocals (I'm their fans since they debuted). But the only problem is: they don't have a good song. I still don't understand why Bar Bar Bar is so popular. The song is catchy, I know, but Crayon Pop have more songs that more catchy. And I hope they'll have more songs that show their vocal like this : )

I love CP's early songs (Saturday Night, BING BING, Dancing Queen, etc.) more than Bar Bar Bar, but it is undeniable, Bar Bar Bar helps them to attract more ages of fans. So they have to take this into account, otherwise they can not survive in such a difficult competitive environment.
