Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.

I love their friendship. You can tell they actually get along really well and enjoy spending time together. Some on-screen couples have terrible chemistry but these two are right at home next to each other.

Jake and Neyteri were part of my high school journey to manhood in being a sucker for a love story
I think we can all agree that seeing these two together again is a real treat for fans of the first one

You saw a different movie than I did then. The movie clearly focused more on their kids but they also had their time to shine as well.

I love how their real voices are so different from their characters. Neytiri's voice has been and still is my favorite tho. It's so raw and calm and the way it becomes a little hoarse when she cries or shouts is just so beautiful to hear. And the way she calls him "My Jake" in the movie is so precious. The Sully's always stick together 🫶🏻
Agreed. And I love Sam's voice as Jake and he does a great job removing the thick Australian accent

I had no idea their friendship is so...genuine.
I really like Zoe's recognition of Cliff's connection to water and how comfortable he was to be in the water and express being Māori through his character. Seems like a passing comment for most people but I'm sure for Cliff it meant a lot, and as a kiwi myself I'm glad they recognise that for him. The same goes for Duane Evans Jr too.
These two are the best movie couple of all time. Can’t wait to see what they’re like as parents now besides a couple for Avatar.

I was overwhelmed as I finished watching this one as I did with the first film. It's just breathtaking, groundbreaking and a whole ton of hype for the last hour. 3 hours went by way too quick!
I think it took a while to get to the really good stuff. But I couldn’t agree more

This film is a long time coming and a masterpiece! The Avatar series is one of my favorite series in my life! That's how good this series is. Great job Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana! 👍🏼😉
My youngest child and I went to see it last night. There's one part where I was crying so hard that I covered my mouth with both my hands, trying not to disturb others in the theater. I won't say what part I'm talking about, don't want to ruin it for others who haven't yet seen it. But it was just as touching as the original Avatar, if not more, and we're going to see it again, at LEAST one more time!!! James Cameron is so brilliant at what he does that it's hard to take it all in during just one viewing! Can't WAIT to see it again...and again...and again!!!💜💜💜

I really love Avatar. My friend recommended this movie and we went to theater. After watched this movie, I remembering continutely. I like their friendship ! It was so touching and I think this film is real masterpiece. I will watch Avata again :)

@@IRONFIST260 there are actually no sexual scenes in this Movie at all… in the First one there of course was one scene, but Not in this Second one
For me, it's weird to see Sam Worthington in moments like this where he is all cheery and full of laughter compared to only seeing him in movies playing his roles and everything related to his on screen persona. It's mostly seriousness, being formal and in Avatar, the mindset of a Marine (Jarhead). From what I know, I haven't seen him in the spotlight very much to be used to this side of him. Love him in Avatar and The Way of Water (seen it twice) and I can't wait to see what the rest of the sequels have to offer.

Sully isn't any less intelligent than his brother, he just trusts his instincts and dislikes complex instructions because they are limiting.
I noticed something new from re-watching _Avatar_ during the scene where Sully thinks it's a good idea to try shaking Eytukan's hand. I used to think he was just begin stupid again, but then I noticed Eytukan gives him this little expression before hand and sully seems to intuit from this that he can trust Eytukan or that he doesn't regard the sky people the same way the other Navi do -- which is true, because his wife has presumably had various signs from Eywa -- but he doesn't act on it in the right way and makes a fool of himself instead of just shutting up.

This film is such a good experience. Story is very weak and repetitive but it doesn't take away from the film.
