I was a software engineer before I created my own company, but one thing that got me my first job was MAKING THINGS! I had 0 experience in anything, but making projects on my own for something I really love was a MASSIVE boost! Seek out that job, but also build something you love :) Not only will you have a cool project you're happy with, but something you love that employers/clients can see and go "We need them!"
