This is my papa's favorite song, he died of cancer. Sometimes on the radio, we end up coming across this song, reminding us he's with us. If he was able to beat cancer, he would have seen me learn how to drive, go to high school, and soon get a job. He help me with elementary school an some of middle school, and cancer got to him.

My mom had a close friend that recently passed away. He cared so much not only for my mom, but for me and my sister too. He was a lot older than my mom, but had known her since she was about 11. I think He was like a father figure for my mom when she was younger, and they became very close friends over the years. He was such an amazing, nice and just happy man. He lived a fulfilled life. He never forgot me or my sisters birthday no matter how old he got. We just went to his funeral today, and before he died he asked to play this song at his funeral. So they did. I already loved this song before but now, it’s a lovely way to remember the man I looked up to, the man who taught me many things and the man who loved and cared for me and my family. My parents are babyboomers and I grew up listening to him, Frank sinatra, Ben Cosby, Carol Bernet, Dick Van Dyke shows and I love Lucy so I've heard this song before but I just stumbled across it again and I'm addicted!
