I am 25yrs old and on a healing journey from my first heartbreak 5 years ago I went through alot spiritually and had no idea what I was going through and was labeled “schizophrenic”, and put on medication. I thought that was help. Being heartbroken I did things that were very out of character for me and was left embarrassed and confused after I acted out due to the intense feelings and thoughts I was experiencing. Recently being introduced to Matakite I resonate with what has been said about Wairua and more interested in spirituality because it makes sense the things I have encountered over the years. I have seen the future and past in visions and dreams both scary and beautiful but I have had little to no guidance but starting to reach out and self study as I want to heal and move forward. Just learning and remembering to remain humble through it all is helping alot.
Dynamic contradictions between the traditional ways incorporating the white man's religion which was cruelly forced upon the Mauri. Their language was taboo.
