@@SilverStrumer Rabbithole doesn't reference rabbits, it's the term for any spot in a game where you disappear to an unseen world for a while. And they had rabbits in Sims 1.
Hope they thought to make this compatible with cats&dogs pack’s veterinarian job. Cows and llamas be sick and vets come to treat them. That would be amazing.
The cows and llamas are tied to items dude, they're not real tangible animals, they can't leave the lot.
Also, it's EA. Did you honestly expect them to try and do more than the absolute minimum?

Okay. I'm not complaining like AT ALL with this pack. It's beautifully made and all that. Although, I'm a bit sad we got no horses. I can imagine my sim walking a small little shetland through a forest, and teaching her kids how to ride too! I also wish we had pigs and maybe goats, but I'm still so super excited for this pack to come out!!
They will probably release a stuff pack called "farmfriends" or something and have it fill off small animals, like the did with my first pets

In order to do horses and fairies right, they would need their own pack. They won't use pigs in a sims game because pigs require slaughter in the real world. Even if they implemented pigs differently, the implication is still there.

I’m actually super excited for this as I was just complaining about how dull the gardening was in sims 4 compared to other games. It just feels so basic and limited in sims 4 in addition to what our options use to be, so seeing this farming aspect is great

Congratulations!! You may still have time to game while he naps though. I loved when my little guy would snuggle up and fall asleep on my chest and I could use a controller for gaming. I'd also nap with him during some, and just soak in the snuggles other times, but playing games is like self-care for me so I took some time for it too. Now my little guy naps in his crib so I try to actually be productive during those hours. But yeah, if you're anything like me, real life will feel A LOT more like being a Sim now that you're a parent. XD Find the joy in every moment!
Congratulations! When my daughter was a baby I had plenty of time for games. Feeding every 3 hours and rest of the time the baby sleeps!
this is the first time a sims 4 expansion has looked like it has as much content as sims 2 + 3 expansions had... cautiously excited, hopefully it won't be bugged to hell but we will see

EA just has to do the minimum they think they can get away with at all times and then overcharge for it. but theres plenty of benefits to large quantities of well made content being released at fair prices for an extended period after launch

death by bunny and death by chicken are the confirmed deaths, and both of them are achieved by getting a very low relationship bar with them, and they will attack you, and there’s a chance you’ll be killed

Actually, they said there will be a group cooking! You can have your household cook some good meals and put them on the picnic basket, then have a picnic just like in the trailer! It's such a good feature to have some new family bonding aspect!

Can’t wait to have a cow named Betsy, for my “Humans are friends not food” Vampire to feed off of. And pet chickens for my Vampires little monster children to love and care for at night.
There is a lot to be excited for in this trailer; especially if interactions between many different types animals become a common observance and kids can share in more traditionally adult activities. I still can't help seeing the silly idle actions and gestures the sims are doing, paired with the fact the animals in this pack show more emotions than the sims do. The invisible rectangles (lots) that delineate where sim can or cannot go are also felt. Very adorable though!

I’m sure it’ll be a still cow you can milk and pet, just like the Sims 3, but the Sims 4 will somehow make them worse because they take so much from the great Sims 3 and still manage to disappoint.

And like other derived content from the previous games, in the Sims 4 it always seems rushed and unfinished, it always lacks something that the other packs were able to deliver on. Sims 4 has yet to stand out for something good, even though a lot of the content we’ve seen before. I’m a consumer, and that’s my stand on this installment to the Sims.

Because it's the Sims 4 and they pull crap like that every time. If they do this right, I'll definitely buy it, I'm sick of having a pet dog that Kind Of looks like my rabbit, hopefully these animals aren't just items like babies, but actual unique pets, be awesome if you can choose traits and such as normal. I think that they're using the same pets system, based on the painted cow and clothing on the animals, like hats and sweaters.
Time will tell if they're bamboozling us again or not, I desperately hope not. I really want bunnies, and farming so I can do a better off the grid game, like stranded on an island, or something of that nature.
They actually had some stuff on them toward the end that gives me CAS vibes, so I'm holding out hope!

im so pumped!! i literally bought all of that stuff in the sims 3. cow and chicken and i loved how other animals just randomly roamed around. I've always got gardening but i love the homesteading especially when it combines. Lot more emphasis on self sufficiency which is really cool!!

I've been waiting for this expansion for years!
I'm a bit disappointed that sheep and goats does not seem to be included amongst the animals, but I'm so happy that farming finally becomes a real possibility in the Sims!
I have made many attempted farms, but they never really truly feel like they're actual farms due to the limited crops and few animals to go with it. This is great!

Im so happy with Dream Home Decorator and Cottage Living. EA is making me smile again. Been improving since Snowy Escape with the updates and packs. The kits are ok. But 👍Thumbs up EA.

First: There are always two trailer for a new expansion pack. The next one will have a narrative again. Second: Better no magic. Let them focus on farming so they will get it right and put the magic in a gameplay pack. Otherwise fairies will be like aliens and mermaids... useless.

@@SisterTheohild I seem to be the odd one out on mermaids...I really love that pack, and I'm quite critical of Maxis these days. But mermaids are super fun when I'm doing an ecologist playthrough. I also love using that neighborhood as a quick & dirty vacation destination for my other sims. I'm just disappointed exploring the cave didn't eventually lead to a special mermaid grotto or something. What was that picture on the wall that kept changing? I kept expecting it to unlock some kind of island magic or something, but it never completed itself in any of my playthroughs.

I grew up on a farm, but we didn't have horses. Just pigs, chickens, goats and cows. We had to feed them, breed them and sell them. The only fun thing to do was swim in a river, plant fruits and veges, wash clothes, clean the house, play soccer and go to church. There were wood and zinc houses everywhere. Never saw a rabbit or a fox in my life. I'll get this pack though because it cant be any worse than my actual childhood.

hopefully never. the horses would basically be useless as ts4 isn’t open world so it’d just be a boring high-maintenance object that you have to take care of.

I'm not gunna lie, at the beginning, I was not the least bit interested. However, as the trailer played and I saw the chickens, cows, llama, etc...I gotta say...this is the best pack they've taken out in a while.

I really love how beautiful Sims 4 is and how easy and smooth it runs. Last night though, after a very long time of not playing the Sims 3, I played The Crumplebottom sisters in Moonlight Falls and it satisfied in a way that Sims 4 never did. Idk what's missing with Sims 4. I really want to like it as much as I like the Sims 3.

The world looks beautiful. All those gorgeous hills are breathtaking. I also love all of the animals and kids finally being able to cook. Oh and that picnic basket and needlepoint. It looks like this pack will bring so much new gameplay. Thank you!
