These remind me of the old Mac's from my school in the early 2000s haha.

I bought a set of these (new) just a few years ago. I loved the look of them when they came out (yes I'm that old) but since I was quite averse to Apple products at the time I never got them. They were also quite pricey.
Since then I've gone hard on the Apple train and when I found out they were still sold I got a set which looked very nice next to my iMac. I've moved on to a Mac mini now but the speakers still remain.
In truth, they are not the best speakers in the world. There's a slight buzz as soon as the speakers wake from sleep, which also involves a delay long enough to be annoying. And the bluetooth standard is clearly very old. Not only is the bitrate audibly worse than modern standards, there's also the startup delay when playing a sound, and the bluetooth remains "open" as long as no one connects to it. And since I used them wired to my Mac, my neighbour connects to them "by accident" every once in a while and plays his shitty music in my living room. And it's not possible to override this, or connect a new device until the old device has disconnected. Fun.
Still tho, they look amazing in spite of being a 20 year old design.
One smalle note: You're supposed to fold the base for the speakers back so the speakers are cantilevered toward the front and almost appear to be floating, they look much better that way!
