Price was on a downward movement because consolidating which in turn forms a trendline liquidity. I would expect price to take out those liquidity and react to a POI above and continue its move downwards to break the lowest low.. So i go with a buy
There is also bullish Engulfing pattern and on support level ❤
Btw it broke the resistance level and tested it again and this indicates that the price will continue rising.
There was a bullish flag that recently ended its resistance, which mean the buyers will now have more power

What time frame are you using,
I just know by experience that you can see what the other timeframes did even if only shows the 4h here.
So we know that the last red candle with the wick in other timeframes (5/15 or even 1h) was a grab for liquidity wich indicates possible change on the bearish movement to bullish, while you see that the next and last red candle didnt go even near the wick wich means it was a liquidity grab and finally the green candle you can see that in 5 or 15 min it broke structure, by surpassing the last red candle and also formed a double bottom (even triple that idk for sure) at least in lower timeframes and then when the break comes you just wait for it to pull back in a key point (some order block or fair value gap or rejection etc...) to go long and that you can see because the green candle as that wick on top that was your pullback to go in, if any of this requirements dont met each other you dont enter :) i hope this helps somebody.

Is a buy because there's a double bottom preceded by BOS. Every time price breaks structure, there is always a high probability that it will retrace. So this was a high probable buy. Look also at the far left at the top. Price broke out, and then retraced. But you have to wait for confirmation

Yes, that's the difference between trading and investing. But the preferable option would depend on various factors
If you want easy no looking at charts investment, put into a index fund like s&p500 and do consistent purchases over time and you’ll be golden. But do that in a 401k retirement fund to reap the most benefit from taxes.

86 bips refers to 0.86%. Convert to decimal is 0.0086. 165$/0.0086 = 19186. So that trade was nearly 20k. Unless he’s trading with leverage than that’s a different story.
