She teaches students world over and many of them are teachers, research scholars, performers and graded artistes of All India Radio as well.
She has presented numerous teaching sessions as part of the Amrutha Gurukula Series of the All India Radio, Bangalore. Apart from the teaching sessions at AIR, she has also presented lecture demonstrations on the subjects, ‘Thodi and it’s Janya Ragams ‘ and ‘Vivadi Raga kritis of Sri Tyagaraja’ there. She was also invited to a three session teaching session at the Swathi Thirunal Music College in Thiruvananthapuram in 2019.

Pure Gold from Amrutha! So much weight in every point that she makes and each of the singing segments is worth it's weight in gold. The clarity of just the small phrase in Dhanyasi, the voice modulation and the grip, was absolutely stunning! If more people sang with this level of perfection and refined sense of aesthetics,
Carnatic vocal music will surely get the same level of international appeal that Carnatic instrumental and Hindustani music get. God bless you Amrutha and I hope you will continue to scale greater and greater heights.

Excellent presentation. I am glad that you emphasized on listening. That really helps a great deal, especially greats like MDR, KVN... You have evolved your own style of presentation. The way you appear on stage is important. In your case audience never gets distracted from your music. Way to go Smith's.
