Sports mode means manual gear change right? I don't see you shifting gear ? You just reached 90 on first gear?
Bro sports mode means shifts gears manually but in this car if you don't shift gear manually in sports mode , car will automatically shifts. Once you touch plus or minus it will not shift automatically than. I hope this cleared your doubt.

Going to buy i20 , plz suggest which transmission is better . MT or IVT.
I am an average driver residing in kolkata but need to travel long distances and possibly will shift to rural area soon.
Hey, I will suggest you to go with automatic transmission (IVT) as it is very smooth to ride and you do not have change the gears. It will be very comfortable in traffic as you just have to take your foot off the brake and car will start driving. Average is also good on highway which is 18kmpl but in city it's just 10-12kmpl. Manual can give you better in city.

Thankyou so much bro 🙏, if you need performance go for turbo dct if you need comfort smooth gear shift and smooth ride go for ivt. Ivt is is very smooth and jerk free. Maintenance of ivt is less compared to dct.

Bro if you want performance and wants to feel quick gearshift go for the dct variant. If you smooth relaxed ride and you always drive in city than cvt is best for you. Both are good one has more performance other is very relaxed and smooth

bro manual can give 11-12kmpl in bumber to bumper traffic and in mix travel it can give 14-16kmpl if you drive smoothly. engine refinement is amazing.

Bro mileage in city is 10-14 depending on route and traffic. If traffic is too much than 10kmpl and on highway it has a mileage of 18-20kmpl

No sir, if you want automatic AC you have to go asta model and you cannot add automatic AC aftermarket.

Im planning to buy i20 sports ivt 2023. But heard so many issues about IVTs rubber band effect. Is that true?
No bro, there is no issue in ivt transmission. It so smooth. And when you put car in sports mode and you press full throttle at 6000 rpm it feels like it shifts gear. This car has best CVT transmission. And performance is also great especially in low-end torque

Hi, the asta model have Bose premium 7 speaker setup with subwoofer. And quality is amazing.

@@sanviksanu sorry for confusion. Sportz model speakers are very good. I never felt that I need subwoofer. Because speakers themselves produce good enough bass. The mids and highs are good of these speakers and you can also adjust the bass, highs and mids using Equalizer which is built in the infotainment system. Overall quality is good.

Brother how is the car in hills with automatic?
I drive solo a lot and im from mumbai. Last year drove from mumbai to kargil by safari and this year by my santro xing 2005 to places in himachal.( last year episodes are there and this year with santro few pics and shorts) so going by this usage....which would you go for ???

As far as I have tested its performance there is no doubt it can't go on hills. The low end performance or torque is good in this car. You can easily take this car to the hill with no problem. If you are a driver who drives aramse then you can go for it because there is no jerk or even feeling of shifting gears. If you want to choose between punch altroz and amaze you should not go with punch because it's amt, you will feel jerks and performance is ok, second there is blind in the pillars if you're comfortable with that you can go for it.
Punch has a 3 cylinder engine which might not be the most refined compared to the i20 because the i20 has a 4 cylinder engine which is very refined. Same with the Altroz 3 cylinder.
I don't know much about the amaze.
The final thing I would like to tell you that go for i20 if you want refinement and better features.
I20 is more spacious than the punch but similar to altroz.
Altroz is also good because it's the safest hatchback but it has many issues related to the engine as users have described.
I hope this makes your choice clearer.
The alloys are from plati. The size is 16 inch and is installed in stock wheel size by the company. There has been no offset change in the axles the centre of the alloy is deeper which is why the wheels are little off.

what alloys wheels are those and how much did it cost? any drop in mileage?
Those are plati brand alloys(16inch) and they costed me 30,000/-. There is no drop in mileage because they are lighter than the steel wheels that company provides because these are made of aluminium which is lighter than steel. I checked the weight of steel wheels and those were 11kg each. Alloys are lighter than steel. I hope it cleared your doubt.

Bhai i20 sportz ivt liya jai ya venue dct.. i20 10.5L tak aa rha h venue 12.80 L.. 80% driving in ncr.. daily 10-12 km.. small kid.. pl suggest..
Hey, it depends on your preference If you like suv or hatchback. But if you want more performance go for venue dct and if you want decent performance and smooth ride go for i20. You can also go for i20 dct as well but it will cost more. Both of the cars are very refined and smooth.

Yes definitely, its the most smooth transmission for comfort rides.
My new i20 sportz automatic reached 3000km and getting avg milage 12 km / L
Local trip for 30km is 14 km / L
Yes it gives 14 when 60km speed Avg is maintained
If you put in S mode and don't change the gears manually (like the way you did for the 0-100 acceleration) the gearbox behaves identically like the D mode, right???
Do you really feel any major difference between the pulling power of D mode and S mode??
There is a difference in sports mode, sports mode increases the rpm of the car by around 2000-3000. And in sports mode car's throttle feels more responsive and car revs higher. If you shift gears by yourself than it will rev more and performance would be more. I hope this answered your question.

@@sahilkhurana2001 bro as far as i have tested it on normal steep roads it does not require hill assist control because low-end torque is good in this car and throttle response is also good you just need to be fast enough to press the throttle after releasing the brakes on hill.
