As someone who hasn’t read the webtoon and just watched this out of pure curiosity - I would like to say I was blown away by everyone’s performances. Not a single actor was lacking. This is so fast paced but so good and I binged the whole thing in a day. One of the best kdramas I’ve ever watched. The production quality is incredible too. Can’t wait for a season 2!!!

This was a lot of fun. A little slow sometimes but I loved the creativity of the monsters. Had me always wanting to see what kind of bizarre mutations they would run into next. And for being a silly idea the story was pretty well done in my opinion with good characters. Yeah, I'd love to see more!

I was crying and then I was like “what am I doing all depressed? I’d rather be scared.” And decided to watch first half of episode. Now I’m scared and think that I’ll just stick to the webtoon haha. (I read the webtoon when it came out). I’ll admit that I want to see that guy who wanted to become an idol and hope that the mother stays “good” and protects them here too

Story, casting, acting everything is fuckin' mind blowing but but but the CGI work may disappoint you a little bit, but watch it, as it is 100% worthy!
at first I thought the Special Effects were garbage too , but after getting used to it I ended up liking the aesthetic, it's unique and cartoonish but perfectly consistent throughout all the monsters .
I don’t really comment on any trailers, but I gotta say this series is a masterpiece in every ways. I finished on my off day. 🤟🤟

@@JesusGomez-ob2qt it's a horror webtoon it's character based more than plot based it's about the progression of the main character as an character from an edgy asshole to a decent guy the basic premise is our MC wanted to commit suicide he set a date for it and was waiting but before that basically I guess apocalypse would be a good word basically people started to turn into monsters now the MC and the members of the building he lives are stuck in an apocalyptic world and MC is also kinda infected slowly transforming

Sweet Home is one my favorite Webtoons/manwhas (Korean manga) that I've ever read, it's a 10/10 for me personally. I hope this live action TV adaptation of it does it the justice that it deserves 🔥🔥🔥💯.

Webtoon: Way more intense horror feeling.
Adaptation: Way better character development.
Conclusion: Both are worth.

TBH, Hollywood use to make these kind of films and TV shows but the rise in Marvel super heroes movies void the whole industry of creativity in the last 10 years.

Mare of Easttown, Devs, etc and etc. The thing is you people only watch Netflix and Netflix wich is good is bringing awareness of international productions to US market with good dubs because major american companies like WB/HBO Disney/FOX/HULU are pulling out content and Netflix is going more international. BUT if you watch HBO MAX or HULU FX you realize there are tons of good american shows.............. .

@@celphone1cellphone591 I agreed with you when it comes to Mare of East town, one of the best detective thriller I have watched since True Detective but its a dime in a dozen and it come along only every few years. I mean The Mandalorian which I think is an entertaining show (but plot whole galore with some boring filter episode to boot) have a higher IMDB rating than Mare of East Town and that rub me the wrong way. Meanwhile, Kdrama has everything for everyone and they have at least 2 standout shows every year. When it come to thrillers shows or movies, no country do it better than South Korea nowadays, just looks at the popularity of Squid Game for example.
Let’s all just take a second to appreciate that this show is based off a Webtoon ☺️

This is the best drama ive ever seen in a while. I am so proud of all the actors being amazing and portraying their characters so well. Especially for SongKang and DoHyun they did incredibly good. Sweet Home is amazing I finished it in one day. I would recommend it 100/10 but remember that this isn’t for everyone, you need to be strong and unbothered by gore or else..
I was really amazed by Song Kang... I think the last thing I saw him in was Love Alarm??? Seeing the potential of his acting range here was so cool. I hope we see him again in season 2!!
