    Outstanding! I love how these guys are so humble and honest and did not sacrifice their passion for quality and performance! We need more companies like these two who provide an excellent product made by hard working folks here in America and recognize the grace and goodness of God over their lives and businesses! Well done, gentleman!

    Makes me proud to see a couple of good ole Americans setting down and figuring out how to make things better. They are right on, it’s a little more expensive but it is a premium product and it is absolutely worth it!!! Thanks guy’s!

    Just started shooting factory ammo with hammer bullets in 6.5-300 Weatherby with outstanding results. Accuracy has been sub moa in two different Mark V's with excellent terminal performance!! Velocity has been spot on with the factory Weatherby ammo.

    I’ve been shooting Hammer bullets for a couple years now and I’ve got to say I’m glad I made the switch. I’ve seen a dozen bears dropped dead with these bullets, most of which I shot myself. I’ve never seen a bullet do what these can do, from Barnes to Nosler. Absolutely devastating on game, and the easiest bullets I’ve ever worked up loads for. Ive tried a few and settled on the 196 Hunter as my go to bullet for moose and bear. I’ve had bears drop less than 10 feet from where they were and never had one go more than about 100 ft. Thanks Steve and Brian!!

    I went out and shot with a human spotter for the first time recently, an experienced marksman who used to compete. He said he's never seen anything as consistent and entrancing as the hammers I'd loaded. At 520 I was easily grouping under 3", maybe 2", shooting over a bag not a bipod out of a mid-tier rifle. Aftermarket barrel but nothing fancy. A guy who thought he'd seen everything still can't stop hollering about it 2 weeks later. Looking forward to my buck and cow hunt next week!

      @@jcarry5214I did! Whitetail buck, no trophy buck or anything but a full grown big bodied Saskatchewan whitetail deer nonetheless. One shot, actually hit a bit higher and further back than I meant, shooting standing freehand at about 250-300 yards or so. Didn’t matter, went down less than 20 yards from where it was hit, minimal meat damage, broke ribs on entry and one on exit, and yes it exited!!!! Liver and rear portion of lungs taken out, very fast killing bullet. 10/10 recommend them.

      @@roadkillanonymous4807 Nice! Sounds like my results on an old stinky mulie in 7mm, but mine was a good broadside at 60. My buddy said it was the best damage he'd ever seen. little entry and good exit with a 3" pipe of goo between. I clipped the heart off but there was hydro shock on the rear of the liver, that's how much it displaced. nice result, especially with a 75! I'm eager to try out the quarter bore. That's a damn good shot freehand brother. I can hit great kneeling at 300, I think I'm only 60% standing at 150 though.

    I remember the HT BULLETS from the early to mid ‘90’s that looked similar just after Barnes came out with the X-Bullet.
    Are these a slight copy?
    We’re HT BULLETS a consideration in the design?

    For reloading, can the Barnes data be used safely?

    • @jcarry5214
      @jcarry5214 5 місяців тому

      No, you're better off using Nosler data than Barnes TBH. Well, to answer you more accurately it might be safe but nobody uses it, they're the total opposite of Barnes for internal ballistics. Where Barnes is mega-tight in the bore leading to different issues the Hammers are closer to a match bullet in the pressure curve, that's hoe much lighter they are in the barrel.

    I don’t like hammer bullets they are so unpredictable, and they are not consistent. I do not recommend anyone ever buy their bullets. Go watch other videos on hammer bullets. You will see some real in-depth videos on them even the makers of the bullet do not even give you a accurate video.

    • @jcarry5214
      @jcarry5214 5 місяців тому

      You've tried them personally and got those results or just watched videos? That's the total opposite of my findings, and the dozens of people I talked to before I tried them. My buddy was a competitive multi discipline shooter and he spotted me one day and said they're more consistent than any match bullet he ever shot. And he was there when I shot my first mule deer and said he'd never seen that much damage. I just searched again and found multiple new videos of people getting great results and just the same complainers making negative videos over and over again. I'd honestly like to be able to hear some actual negative results, because I believe every bullet fails sometimes, but every time I ask someone about their bad experience they have never actually shot anything with them or done real load workup.

      I'd say that people who hunt animals in Africa on one trip, using Hammer Bullets, may take more large tough animals than most American hunters take in a lifetime. Watching a few videos of people shooting into water jugs and ballistic gel prove nothing. Weatherby simply would not load their ammunition with bullets that haven't been proven to reliably work.
