Exactly, this team should have won the first! It's absolutely superb speed and technical skills, stunningly beautiful, and very emotional, and it catches your heart and eyes completely, and this team is the best!
@Kate E there’s more to the judging though, you need great suits, headpieces, sharpness, speed, agility, flexibility, strength, etc. They could’ve been off by a teammate and got a deduction. It also all depends on the judges and what they think, they also need perfect scores to get to 1st, I know this because I am a synchronized swimmer and I’m on one of the best clubs in America. (not bragging)

I don't agree, in my opinion, even if I liked the chinese performance, I think the russian's team deserved to win. The russian girls' performance was amazing, actually the synchronisation and the speed was breathtaking. They had no slow part as the chinese girls had, so they had no time to rest. Their technique was perfect, their bodies seemed to be controlled by only one mind... very impressive. The level in this competition was very high anyway, all the girls were so talented!

As a synchronized swimmer, I can tell you that during the competition, your eyes hurt a lot. You just have to deal with it. During practice we wear goggles though

The most impressive thing about this sport is that these women are not just holding their breaths underwater..they are also performing extreme and difficult movements at the same time...which in fact burns more oxygen in the body...so they're basically working out as hard as they can while holding their breaths...nothing but respect for this sport and its athletes🙌

The Chinese team did an amazing job and they absolutely had the most beautiful and artistic routine. But in terms of difficulty, especially with the throws/jumps and overall energy, I think USA deserved first place. But it's so hard to judge at this level of talent.

Can't speak for them but when I practiced synchronised swimming we used waterproof makeup by Make Up for Ever
