A Houthi missile reportedly struck Israel's largest city, Tel Aviv, on the intervening night of December 20 and 21. Videos on social media purportedly showed missile impact in Tel Aviv. A light streaking towards the ground and a loud blast was reported. The Israeli Defence Forces confirmed that a missile from Yemen had hit central Israel. IDF said, "Attempted interceptions did not succeed." The attack on Tel Aviv came a day after the IDF struck Houthi targets in Yemen in a revenge strike.
