That was a awesome catch...loved the underwater view. Amazing fish and video
Oh man, you were making some serious waves. That's a powerful motor!
Great going Wayne! You are consistant with the pelagics out there mate, well done👍🤙
Great fish! Really good editing, didn't feel the need to skip ahead at all. Love it.
Holy smoke dude that was intense! You had a lot going on....awesome!
That was freaking awesome! Sailfish are so cool! Love the fight and your underwater footage was amazing!
Awesome man congratulations on such a beautiful fish ! Amazing !
Heck yea buddy! Awesome fishing, and video! Always fun getting to see what you catch!!
The best 8 minutes and 50 seconds of my day was just spent riding along with you! I'm really missing not getting down there, so will you please continue to help my mental therapy by continuing with the offshore fishing videos? Tight Lines, Wayne.....enjoyed it! Surprised that sail didn't do at least one jump, or did I miss it? Great release.
Thanks Steve I will do my best 😁.
It was crazy I never saw a jump. Than again it was on the shotgun line which is way out in the swells. Could’ve been jumping when I was clearing lines. Thought it was gonna be a Wahoo or big Blackfin
Awesome work all around in this one Capt!! Solo mission success and stayed safe!! Awesome fish Wayne!!
You are absolutely the MAN! Great catch bro! Sailfish still eludes me and still on my list! Great video!! Keep them lines tight!! -Capt Dan
Thanks Captain Dan. The big ones will be settling in to their summer home by June. Try to get up her beginning of June and we will make it happen
Awesome catch. Good technic and good strike. 👍👍👍. Greetting for new friend in Indonesia
Dude this vid is straight fire wow!! This is right up my alley!!
Nice catch and release bro freaking awesome and nice underwater footage freaking amazing.
Thanks for sharing this was epic. Stay safe always. Mahalo🤙🏽
What a battle man! I would suggest you explain your gear every time you do these videos so some of us know what to use. ;)
Thanks AJ. Great point!! I did in the last video so was just going for the suspense in this one.
wow what an epic video, had me on the edge of my seat, love the cinematic music you added through the video too, really made it feel intense, one hell of a small boat but the adrenaline and excitement must of been next level, stay safe out there brother
Thanks brother greatly appreciate it. I’m having a blast making videos and trying to get better each time. I have another one coming tomorrow with more Sailfish footage. Good to see you. Tight lines
What a fight Brother!!!
Loved the underwater camera!
Loved so beautiful 👍👍
Great catch! And very nice editing, loved the underwater shot!
Thanks John it gave me goosebumps when I did the underwater edit with the music 😂
That sure was a battle! Nice catch! Those look neat but look like they can be deadly and spear ya... got to be careful with those beauties!!
I’ve had some close calls with their bills before. Appreciate you watching PH
Great video 👍 up all the way that was a first I never seen a selfish not jump
Thank brother!! I know it was crazy. I think it was jumping so far out in the wells I didn’t notice when I was clearing the spread. Swore I had a Wahoo until I saw it.
@@CProFishingWithWayne that's what I was thinking it was or a 50 pound BLK fin
Awesome catch. That was was epic. I really liked the underwater shot. Those were some incredible colors. Good job.
epic catch great job ! i almost never get a sail on trolling your bait was presented perfect ! you have to clear your working place before grabbing the fighting rod (this could end different with the lure )and you had a rod holder waiting for it ...
any way great video any day with a sail is a great day !
Thanks brother I appreciate it. The fish hit the shotgun on the T top. I was just clearing those rods that got tangled. That’s only the second Sail I’ve caught trolling and both times on the same combo.
What a climactic catch truly epic with amazing footage that was intense 🤩
Thanks Boone’s!! I’m trying to make the viewing feel like they’re there with me, and can feel the excitement. Appreciate you buddy
Good job on the sail release! Hopefully you didn't get stuck in that nasty line of storms.
Thanks. This was Wednesday morning. We went out Sunday after the storms cleared around 4pm. Went 1 for 3 on Cobia and had some King cut offs. The wind and current made it very difficult
You are killing me man. Stuck inside watching this. Ramps are supposed to open in Miami this weekend, so hopefully I can get out on my boat or a freidns.
😁 You’re ramps are open Wednesday Tanner!! Get out and slay them. Let me know if you want to come fish up here one day.
Awesome catch. That was epic. I really liked the underwater shot. Those were some incredible colors. Good job. 👍
Heck yeah brother that was awesome man!! I don’t know how you can fish that setup by yourself and captain the boat! That underwater footage was awesome man, keep up the great work brother you were right your crazy man😜
Thanks brother yeah it’s difficult sometimes, but I’m definitely crazy 😂
Really cool looking fish. How come you don't stop your motor and stay in the same place while you battle it?
When they hit a lure going at 8 knots it tends to open up the hole the hook made especially as the fight goes on. If you stop the hook could come out very easily. I go full speed for about 20 seconds to see if other rods go off and then I slow down to about 4 knots to keep continued tension on the line.
That was a nice fish after you landed it mate and that under footage before you landed it was insane , love it mate , looked like there was something underwater following it too or was it just me???
Thanks brother!! I didn’t notice anything I will have to look again
Kudos to you for getting out there and getting back safely. That water got choppy in a hurry! Great battle and action ... music fit perfectly! And dude that underwater shot 👀 what a beautiful sailfish! Always amazed at how you can juggle all that and not get Speared or crash the boat 🤣 so question on that release, are you just cutting the line and leaving whatever tackle he took attached? Couldn’t tell from the footage exactly. Amazing stuff as always man.
It definitely got a little hairy out there. I was able to grab the hook with the pliers and get everything out. I appreciate the awesome feedback!!
Well, that was exciting. I've never seen a bill fish caught in person, but I'd say this is the next best thing. I was expecting more jumping though. Maybe the ones that do a lot of jumping are a different kind than that one you caught.
Thanks for watching!!! He probably did plenty of jumps. It was so far out in those swells, and I was busy reeling in lines that I never saw them. By the time I got it near the boat it was worn out. I have several other videos with them going crazy and tail walking on spinning gear
Hi Wayne, great job. Question once all lines are clear why do you leave the boat in gear? Not criticizing just curious. My last sail swam straight to the boat. I have literally caught panfish that faught better. We where getting sharked alot so maybe he thought it was safer by the boat.
All Sails seem to have their own personality. I’ve caught dozens but never had one swim to the boat so that’s kind of strange especially since they put up great fights with lots of stamina.

Makes sense, its hard to judge speed in the vodeo i couldnt tell you slowed down some. i have only caught 2 Sail fish.
1 slow trolling ballyhoo they had 6 lines out so they kept going forward. Thats the fish that swam straight to the boat. (Warbird out of ocean reef kl) The 2nd was was off a kite, they backed up hard on that fish. I was told keep head down and reel as fast as possible. They where practicing for a tournament the next day. The boat was called certifiable, It was a bertram that delaminated. If you google it look for a yellow sport fish with a big hole in the side.
That’s cool. In those tournaments that’s big sport fish will back down to grab then leader as quickly ass possible and it’s considered a catch. While the fish is still very green.
Why do you not stop the motor when you hook up?

You are killin it.if I could sub twice I would
Common name I really appreciate it. I’m trying to bring my excitement through in the videos

@@CProFishingWithWayne I fish out of Sebastian. Would love to meetup and go fishing. I have a new 28 footer with all the goodies and would like to break it in on some Mahi!
Awesome catch. That take a lot of skill to captain, catch and video record a trophy fish like that, especially in those conditions, nice!
Thanks JC!! Lots of practice 😁
