Why is that an elephant. Most of the O3 frames without props in view are DC. It’s visually easy enough for anyone to see with out me actually saying it.
@@MadRC I can bet that more than 60% viewers didn't noticed that, besides V1 is not DC and you did the comparison, so it's should be at least mentioned, that's mine option of course you can disagree.
Great review! Ive been flying the V1 frame and find it very durable. Flying it without an action cam the weight is perfect with 6s 1200mah packs. Looking forward to trying the V2.
Did you notice that when the O3 unit is screwed down over the heatsink there's not enough clearance to get a USB-C cable into O3 socket? The O3 needs to be unscrewed to allow firmware updates :( Bit of an obvious oversight IMO. Maybe I can sandwich a 2mm thermal pad underneath as a speaker? Whadyathink Ian? Diolch 👍
I think the criticism of the v1 aluminium front end not reaching down was a bit overblown. Last week I crashed with 65mph full frontal into a basalt cliff in Iceland and it survived with just some deep scratches in the metal and an ejected battery.
is this frame compatible with dji air unit? i see it has 2 slits for the 2 antennas but what about tpu housing for the air unit like the speedybee fs225 had ? comming from having that frame (i build 3, i think they were that great), i think this frame is a bit overdesigned. i had zero problems with the FS225 v2 frame and i dont like they discontineud them, they were also much lighter than this. do you have to ''hobby'' the air unit yourself with a foam block and zipties?
I like the way when you say "bottom" 😁👍👍👍
Elephant in the room is that v2 has a deadcat geometry, no idea Ian how you could miss that

Ya maybe he should have mentioned it but this is nitpick and not worth packing the pachyderm

@@pottyputter05 it's not nitpick, for me DC geometry is a deal breaker and I'm sure I'm not alone on this
Does it not called wide X-Frame???🤯

Fantastic flying and review, Ian! 😃
Really amazing looking frame!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

will it be cheaper if I buy it ready for fly or if I buy it in parts and assemble it myself
Wondering the same thing. I want to buy this but want to build one too. I think the price will be close
Thanks Ian . That’s a good looking frame mate 👊🏻👍🏻
What's not to like... well done speedybee 👍 and nice vid Ian 👌
The version 1 doesnt let me put on the official dji ND filters, and it looks like the v2 has a cutout for it. Can you confirm this?
Iv not tried the DJI ones. I have flown with the Canerabutter ones though fine.
@@MadRC Then it might be time to buy the camerabutter ones. Thanks for the headsup.
Cheap AliExpress DJI-style UV filter fits OK.
Those TPU camera plates in the V2 can fit in the V1? Because I'm having vibration issues with the o3, tried everything but soft mount.
what is max distance from home, max flight time and could i put a rush tank solo on this. analog expresslrs

are the arms of this frame wider enough to use esc on them?
Hi Ian. Cracking overview as is usual. Just ordered the V2 version of frame. Q: Is there enough clearance to fit a 5.5” prop? Cheers 🍻
Frame clearance is enough for 5.5" props ... but front-to-back prop centres distance is only 5.25" so you'd have to cut them down a bit.
best bando basher o3 unit frame UK?
180g of fat, jello with O3 and flexing FC mount? Please take my money Runcam /s
L I K E 👍👍👍👍👍💯💔💯💔💯🤩🤩🤩🤩
Way way way too heavy
Running some spare Xing2 2406 motors on mine so should b enough low-end torque for cruising ;) Yet to finish the build ....
This guy doesnt even fly drones, he just buys footage, take his opinion with a grain of salt
What’s the fuck are you talking about 😂. ALL that footage is mine, flown by me on that quad you idiot.
Lmao 🤣
