I think them being roommates makes the sandwich detail even more incriminating. Like Olivia already pointed out, (in tandem with Ethan's point of giving someone more work to get a thank you gift) if it were really about thanking the bf, J would've gotten the sandwich before her friend was leaving for bf's place, and asked her to hand it off to him. Even more importantly, it's almost implied that J was not expecting her roommate to be with the bf when he showed up. She only reached out to bf, she didn't tell her friend about the sandwich plan. So if I were being uncharitable, that implies that she specifically waited for when her roomate wasn't home to invite bf over, probably hoping to get him alone, maybe not realizing that they were hanging out together. (Maybe the friend was supposed to have work in the morning or something). The other piece that makes the sandwich incriminating is just how much effort was being put into getting it. I think that's why J threw in the detail about the bakery being right outside her work. To distract from the fact that she rembered a specific sandwich he likes (it was implied that it was mentioned in passing and not something she asked him directly). which is an odd detail to commit to memory for someone you seemingly don't interact with that often (unless you're into them of course). Also the weird amount of effort she's expecting from bf to get the gift. Most people would ask what food place someone likes and get them a giftcard, not something that spoils. And I think that's part of it too. She specifically told him "come get it before it spoils". It being food creates a sense of urgency that prevents him from politely declining the gift or "forgetting" to come get it. TLDR: she knew damn well what she was doing
"Come over first thing tomorrow morning, I have a day-old sandwich you need to come put in the trash" girl no, YOU get up first thing in the morning and deliver a FRESH sandwich to him at work. Like damn can we be less trashy while obviously tryna steal a man
My ex boyfriend stole my favourite hoodie and then after a while his new girlfriend started posting pictures in it saying how it smelled so nice and I never said anything because hoodie politics in girl world get WILD 😂
it's for sure in the girl code not to flirt or be too friendly with a guy you know your best friend is going to date and really likes. it's so disrespectful that she took the hoodie, volunteered to bring the sandwich etc. What a snake 💀
the second girl was definitely trying to take her man 💀💀 the way she spoke was like 'i could have your man 🥱 but i didn't want him' like gtfo lol. and i agree, it's also so weird that she didn't dispute about saying to their mutal that she and him would get along great, like uhmmmm????
For me, it's the fact that there is an allegedly deleted TikTok video floating around where she mentioned and talked about justifying why spend money to buy hoodies when you can steal your boyfriend's hoodies. Someone reposted her deleted TikTok video where she associates cute hoodies with the word boyfriend. Besides mounting the tv was an activity they did together as a trio so why didn't she get Kelly a sandwich as well? Why just thank him for something you all did together? She could've gotten her a sandwich too because it's normal for best friends/roommates to treat each other to food. It's not that hard to get an extra sandwich to make sure there was no misunderstanding whatsoever.
I think the girlfriend said yeah let’s go get the sandwich and let’s get it together 😈 so that she could look at her friends face like what’s good. The ex friend is acting way to innocent. Like little old me… I would never. Booo
The sandwich is the worst part for me. Gift cards don't exist anymore? You had to get him a fresh sandwich so he would come and pick it up? And even if she did NEED to buy him a sandwich, why not text your friend and be like "hey do you want anything from here?"
One of the weirdest parts for me was why is she notorious for keeping hoodies for a long time? Does she not look at the weather and realize it’s gonna be cold? I doubt she has trouble purchasing a cheap one somewhere so she needs to get her own and quit stealing them from random guys.
I love Olivia so much, she's so pretty with the coolest makeup looks and she has the prettiest most calming speaking voice. Love the energy she brings to the pod!
It's not about calling dibs, it's about their being mutual vibes between her friend and the guy and yeah if I see my girlie talking with a guy no I'm not gonna shoot my shot dafuq
They kind of explained it in the video, but it has more to do with who the guy likes than whoever "called dibs". Like if two girls started liking a guy around the same time, if the guy shows a preference for girl A, it's girl code common courtesy for girl B to step back and let things happen however they happen. Often the guy's interest overrules whoever of the two girls expressed their interest first. (And shouldn't need to be said, but the guy's interest doesn't matter if he's trying to cheat, that's an absolute no. It wouldn't justify girl B's cheating, that he started liking her over girl A) I had a situation like this happen to me in HS. I liked a guy and while hanging out with a friend (who I had previously told about my crush), I realized that she liked him too (I also asked her directly) and that she was stepping back for me. But when I thought on it, even though I was good friends with the guy, he clearly showed more interest in my friend. So I told her that it was cool and that she should go for it. They ended up dating. But from what we can tell, bf has never expressed interest in J, and J was doing this stuff while her friend was already in a relationship, so that's a clear violation of girl code.
People who engage in spiteful boundary challenging, are often very passive aggressive in other ways. That’s why many of us relate to this drama. Sure, the details can all fall within a grey area, but we all know the girlfriend was probably already fed up.
as a young woman who is in a relationship for almost a year, and i'm here to give my unwanted input on my biggest takeaways from this whole thing. instagram flirting: yes, this is a thing lol. my boyfriend and i started dating in high school so that was the peak of posting things on my story to get his attention. i mean, it worked because we would flirt irl and the things i posted on my story, he kind of picked up on it. close friends: i wouldn't initially see anything wrong with my boyfriend getting added to her close friends, HOWEVER, if i noticed a difference in the way she posted that lined up with her adding him to her close friends would be sus definitely. the hoodie: WHAT?? i would so be FURIOUS if my friend took my boyfriend's sweatshirt and just kept wearing it and posting about it. the friend 100000% knows that there's meaning there. wearing the clothing of the person that you're dating has become a huge thing in today's culture and to wear your friend's boyfriend's sweatshirt for weeks is so insane to me. that's girlfriend type behavior and she is not the girlfriend. the sandwich: this is most definitely just an excuse for her to see him again. to thank someone, you would BRING them something or treat them the next time you saw them in the moment. obviously, not that serious, just some internet fun. peace and love, everyone.
I hope y’all read this! When Ethan was drunk and yelling something like ‘ITSIT’ and everybody said it was nonsense, it was actually Ethan yelling “SAY IT” referring to when Teddy doesn’t enunciate ‘Daddy’ and Ethan jokingly yells say it at him to help him pronounce it properly. Hope this clears up any confusion, PAPA BLESS!!
In girl code, you don’t the guy that your best friend likes. Unless you discuss it first. For young women, there’s little sense of scarcity when trying to find a man, but there IS scarcity for men that you actually connect with. I know the population of straight/bi men to straight/bi women is basically 50/50, but it doesn’t feel that way as a young woman because men approach you to flirt pretty frequently at bars/clubs/social gatherings. When your friend finally finds a guy she really connects with and you just think he’s kinda cute, you go for the cute guy you met last weekend, or the inevitable cute guy you meet 2 weeks from now. You have other options.
Ever since I started hearing about this the question I need answered is wtf kind of sandwich you get someone to eat the next day that isn't going to be soggy and gross. What is on this sandwich.
you want to give your friend's bf his favorite sandwich as a thank you gift so instead of making it convenient by having it delivered to his place, you tell him to drive to your house to come pick it up? or why not just tell your roommate friend that you bought her bf a thank you sandwich for the labor he'd done before, "it's in the kitchen so please just hand it over and tell him thanks again" seems innocent enough. even if you ended up having to hand it over to your roommate (which may not have been the plan but she's on to you), you still woke up earlier than usual just to make sure he gets the sandwich. it's saying you needed time to look pretty, you wanted to give it to him personally but the pesky roommate girlfriend is there and she's on to you so you hand it to her instead, you wanted an up-close personal interaction or at least you wanted to see him and be seen, you wanted to hear him say "that's sweet of you", you wanted to see any hint that your "cigs after s3x" close-friend post made a subliminal effect on him that he starts to reconsider his current relationship and think you might make a wilder hotter sweeter girlfriend
OMG I made a PowerPoint for this exact drama to tell my friends because I was inspired by Olivia‘s previous PowerPoint, and to see that she made one. Oh my God.💀
I love this. Ethan and Dan what does the boyfriends hotness have to do with it? After seeing the boyfriend. Oh I get it yeah she wants him 😂😂😂 Also am I hearing 3 people hung a tv and one person got a sandwich?? Where's your roommates sandwich then bestie?? She coulda just taken her man and his hoodie and left you with your tv. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. Come on now. Also Dan is right stealing is just stealing lol I don't want to be roommates with a friend who has a closet full of other people's hoodies 😂😂 You message your roommates man saying come by and grab a sandwich before work and him and your roommate show uo together and your like well i habded her the sandwich so no shade here. Like girl..... You are not fooling me no no
So weird she would keep a plain ass sweater when they were roommates! She told the bf to get the sandwich and he happened to show up with the gf, maybe she wanted to see him alone.. Johanna is in the wrong. Shouldn’t have made the reply girl..
I wish Olivia presented the videos backwards the way everyone saw them on Tik Tok because the stuff Joanna conveniently leaves out of her video is what really makes the drama.
even if i was about to die from hypothermia, i would never wear my friends bf's hoodie or jacket or WHATEVER. It is unspoken girl code. And honestly if my friends bf mounted my tv i would just doordash food for ALL OF US at that same day and time he was visiting, not being like "come back tomorrow UWU" like she obviously tryna flirt w him.
Lol when my husband was my bf I had a girl who like fed him and tried really hard to get his attention. Obviously I kept my bf and managed to have her ex long term bf be obsessed with me. Never had a full conversation with this man. If they wanted you they would make it happen. Don’t fight over spouses you guys but also, you know how expensive food is now? Let them buy all the sandwiches 😂
Girl code has dibs because guys take longer to commit. You have to respect the process. If we both say we like him at the same time THEN it's fair game.
The hoodie was the trophy. The TV was her way in his door & sandwich was the power she was displaying over her friend.

"Come over first thing tomorrow morning, I have a day-old sandwich you need to come put in the trash" girl no, YOU get up first thing in the morning and deliver a FRESH sandwich to him at work. Like damn can we be less trashy while obviously tryna steal a man
Zack needs the “you did it on my birthday” sound bite from Tati’s video
I love how Dan gets so fixated on the hoodie 😂
Whenever I'm watching this show with my lady and Love speaks, she asks, "is he the one that doesn't eat vegetables? His opinion doesn't matter" lmao
😂
Which one doesn’t eat vegetables?
@@Zucifer8 read my comment slowly. The answer is there lol
@@spacewolf_dan8794 oh ok but actually idk who Love is…but ty
@@Zucifer8he's the Swedish or something guy, he used to be just there via TV but now he's in person
Eyelash curlers are way easier than putting in contacts imo
that concerned “What’s going on Dan?” from Ethan had me rolling
“Sometimes your heart is like ‘he’s so cute I wanna get him a sandwich’” lmfao Olivia 😂😂
I love how serious they take these meaningless issues
Booo
putting it into perspective of doing that shit to one of my friend’s boyfriends would be so crazy LMAO like bffr johanna
The sandwich is the worst part for me. Gift cards don't exist anymore? You had to get him a fresh sandwich so he would come and pick it up? And even if she did NEED to buy him a sandwich, why not text your friend and be like "hey do you want anything from here?"
Dan was hitting nothing but facts on this one
One of the weirdest parts for me was why is she notorious for keeping hoodies for a long time? Does she not look at the weather and realize it’s gonna be cold? I doubt she has trouble purchasing a cheap one somewhere so she needs to get her own and quit stealing them from random guys.
it's a power move. her behavior is giving pick meeeeee, she probably steals hoodies from guys and then acts all flirty about that 🤡
I hope the second girl sees this and is humiliated.
fr she's that one insecure friend that'll flirt with your man just so she 'shows' you she can take him and she's 'better and prettier than u' 🫤🫤
I love Olivia so much, she's so pretty with the coolest makeup looks and she has the prettiest most calming speaking voice. Love the energy she brings to the pod!
Coolest makeup looks 😅
A Nike hoodie is expensiveeee dude why do girls feel like they can STEAL that and think it’s cute ? I’m with Dan on this one.
This story really unlocked something deep for Dan.
Idk if this is just be but calling "dibs" on somebody like their the last pizza roll is kinda weird
It's not about calling dibs, it's about their being mutual vibes between her friend and the guy and yeah if I see my girlie talking with a guy no I'm not gonna shoot my shot dafuq
It’s more about girl code rather than calling “dibs”
They kind of explained it in the video, but it has more to do with who the guy likes than whoever "called dibs". Like if two girls started liking a guy around the same time, if the guy shows a preference for girl A, it's girl code common courtesy for girl B to step back and let things happen however they happen.
Often the guy's interest overrules whoever of the two girls expressed their interest first. (And shouldn't need to be said, but the guy's interest doesn't matter if he's trying to cheat, that's an absolute no. It wouldn't justify girl B's cheating, that he started liking her over girl A)
I had a situation like this happen to me in HS.
“You can’t steal a man’s hoodie” “…you can” 😂 BOYS YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO YOUR HOODIES YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS
I’m sorry but what is so cute about about a generic Nike hoodie? lol
Can you guys consider covering the Do We Know Them legal drama they’re going through?
Ethan is sooooo infuriating when Olivia brings this kind of drama to discuss. Dude, just let the girls finish! And then give us ur opinion
17:55 "I really wanted my TV mounted and he did it."
This hits different after Ethan's joke (17:19) about mounting the TV.
Are you ok
Zack playing that sound while she was talking about the sandwich had me crying
We didn’t know we needed Olivia this much. She’s a game changer
Love that it is just a plain blue sweatshirt lmaoo
Dan made the whole video worth watching.😂totally agree with him
I am confused.. why didn’t she just give him his hoodie back instead of give him a sandwich? That makes more sense to me.
Don't forget that the boyfriend was pre-med, and a model, so hot, smart, and inclined to caring for others.
wasn’t she also posting thong pics in the hoodie 😭😭
Totally in agreement about giving that guy a chore. I don’t trust her!
Olivia is doing the lords work by bringing this to everyone’s attention
Dan's reaction to the notorious Hoodia thief😂😂😂
Suuuuuch a great segment. Literally laughing so much watching the crew talk about this 😂😂
the fact dan was so upset about the hoodie 😂😂 not even what the girl did but the fact she kept a MANS HOODIE a lillll tooo longgg 😭 13:40
Zach’s sound bites at 18:02 😭😂
Apparently the boyfriend is a doctor and model.
26:30 the bear sniffing Ethan😭😭😭
18:01 lmao Zach's gagging sound effect during the sandwich story is PERFECTION. 😅
Dan literally sounds like my internal dialogue
This is literally a tea ☕ drama channel now
I’m so dead at the cute hoodie
you want to give your friend's bf his favorite sandwich as a thank you gift so instead of making it convenient by having it delivered to his place, you tell him to drive to your house to come pick it up? or why not just tell your roommate friend that you bought her bf a thank you sandwich for the labor he'd done before, "it's in the kitchen so please just hand it over and tell him thanks again" seems innocent enough.
even if you ended up having to hand it over to your roommate (which may not have been the plan but she's on to you), you still woke up earlier than usual just to make sure he gets the sandwich. it's saying you needed time to look pretty, you wanted to give it to him personally but the pesky roommate girlfriend is there and she's on to you so you hand it to her instead, you wanted an up-close personal interaction or at least you wanted to see him and be seen, you wanted to hear him say "that's sweet of you", you wanted to see any hint that your "cigs after s3x" close-friend post made a subliminal effect on him that he starts to reconsider his current relationship and think you might make a wilder hotter sweeter girlfriend
I do not want this to end!! Fantastic commentary
Dan and the hoodie lmfaooooo
Who stole Dan's hoodie? The man is hurting!
OMG I made a PowerPoint for this exact drama to tell my friends because I was inspired by Olivia‘s previous PowerPoint, and to see that she made one. Oh my God.💀
how are we not talking about how they became roommates in the first place with communication like … this?
Dan was so funny in this 😂
i wouldnt want to be friends with either of them, ngl.
Kelly has every right lol
I was curling my eyelashes just as Ethan made comments about it 😮 felt like he was talking to me until I looked at the video behind me
I love this. Ethan and Dan what does the boyfriends hotness have to do with it?
After seeing the boyfriend. Oh I get it yeah she wants him 😂😂😂
Also am I hearing 3 people hung a tv and one person got a sandwich?? Where's your roommates sandwich then bestie?? She coulda just taken her man and his hoodie and left you with your tv. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. Come on now.
Also Dan is right stealing is just stealing lol I don't want to be roommates with a friend who has a closet full of other people's hoodies 😂😂
You message your roommates man saying come by and grab a sandwich before work and him and your roommate show uo together and your like well i habded her the sandwich so no shade here.
Fair game? Nah. If my firend was interested I wouldn't go or it because I respect them. Fair game or not.
This was so goood. I got behind on the pod last couple of months, and but lived it through tiktok hahahah
"ThAtS SEAliNG behavior!" 😤😂
