Thank you for these great videos! I really like the way you present these valuable lessons and information. I kinda got in a bit of a rut lately, but you've opened up a ton of things to learn and try. Truly appreciate what you're doing. Peace

You are an amazing instructor....Thank you. I chose the baritone because it sounded much fuller like a guitar sound except when I play it!!!... Look forward to checking out your website and all your vids and kickin' my pickin' up a notch or three.

You sound like you're on the same journey as me. Went from Soprano uke up to the Baritone for same reason. Now I have a tenor guitar ( 4 strings, DGBE tuning ). Got an inexpensive Kmise brand for under $70.00 to give it a try. The body isn't as big as a standard size tenor guitar, but has steel strings and sounds pretty cool. May make a video on Utube about it. Good luck!!!

Would you explain how to pluck the walking baseline a bit slower? A practice sheet would be helpful as well?

Great vid. I just have to say, I dont swing my wrist as much when walking the bass lines, i keep my thumb hovering over the DG, sort of roll my wrist instead, keeps the thump closer to find the strings easier for more accurate plucking

Hey great video! I had a question: can i use guitar DGBE strings on a baritone ukulele?

Guitar strings works put too much tension on the baritone ukulele neck, I'm pretty sure. I'd stick with real baritone ukulele strings if you can. :-)

Hi Scott, I have been working with these getting them down and remembering them, I don't have any problems at the slower BPM but when they get 85-100 BPM you don't have any time to do all of the ups and downs, it is hard to get just the N and down. I am sure that it will change with just starting out slow and working my way up but how do you do it with the faster songs? I have just been doing N down.

When it gets fast enough, you don’t have time to do all the ups and downs! (At least I don’t! 😅) Note strum note strum is perfectly fine! 👍

Do you have to use your thumb on the upstrock

Hi Janice! Definitely not- that’s just a weird quirk in the way I play. :-)

Please demonstrate the walking baseline slower.
