Today I just finished the book and now I'm here for some information. In the end did Theo arrested by police? I think Theo was a psycho , why he didn't leave his wife when he knew that she cheated with him. In my opinion the plot twist is very small and I don't shock actually. Shock for little bit not that much. I saw some movie exact same twist so it doesn't matter for me.
I just don't understand one thing! Theo joined The Grove around 6 years after the death of Gabriel...right?? So how can he read Kathy's emails coz udhr saaf saaf likha hai "ek din kaam k baad Theo jab ghr aaya toh usne Kathy k emails read kr liye" toh we can easily assume ye present mei hi chal rhi hai timeline but us hisaab se toh tb tk Gabriel ko maare hue 6 saal bhi ho gye the! N after reading the mails Theo apni purani psychiatrist Ruth k pass jaata hai n usse btata hai about Kathy's infidelity...and phir part 5 k 3rd chapter mei Ruth and Theo k is conversation ko 6 saal ho gye hai??? Toh ye timeline mei kyaa gap hai?? Kisi aur k dimaag mei aaya yeh?

I don't understand one thing... He is doing the investigation after 6 years of the murder ... But about his wife , she is with him in the present right ? This doesn't make sense to me... Someone explain please
He was a physco and he loved his wife. He didn't wanted to loose her at any cost that's why he didn't confronted her of the affair. Instead he thought of taking Gabriel out of picture, so they could live happily.(And they did for 6years)

Theo felt sorry about doing this to her, that’s why he wanted to treat her. But what he didn’t know what that Alicia would recognize him.
These both events are of different times. Theo was following gabriel because he wanted to know with whom his wife is cheating on him. And theo was treating Alicia because he thought he could help her. He too had a rough childhood like Alicia, and maybe that's why he wanted to help her.
Not at the same times he just telling the story of his love life but letting uh know that the stroy was had taken place 6 years ago 😂 he was just confusing us for the plot twist
Well, the reason why Theo tried to kill Alicia could be multiple. Maybe he felt sorry for her and wanted to help her. Or maybe he just wanted to find all the against him so that he can destroy them. Like her diary, which only she knew where she has hidden it.
Alicia had recognized that it was Theo. And in the end Theo mentions that he understood Alicia had recognized him because she told him the wrong story. So he knew, Killing Alicia is the only way to keep himself safe. But instead she goes into infinite sleep.

This book was the most confusing ever !!! Especially when he mentions that "This was the first time i got face to face with ALICIA" danggg !!!!
