I really loved your video - thank you! I made this for my southern Mother In Law, and she can't stop talking about how they are so amazing for sweet tea and her friends that come over to play bridge. Thank you so much!!!!
I would practice staying in frame as well as a list of everything used including yarn ( acrylic is not really meant for coasters either, if you have a hot beverage that’s gonna melt) cotton might not be as nice to work with but if we’re intending to use the coasters that’s what it needs to be made with.
Hi, new subscriber hereI saw this great idea for a gift so started watching your tutorial. Once I then saw your gorgeous ginger fur baby Cashew ‘helping’ you I was in🤣. Hit the subscribe button, had a look through your playlists and saw so many beautiful things to create and your fur ‘helper’ showcasing many of them 😻. I am a fellow human cat slave/mum/cook/cleaner to 2 fur babies. One ginger and one tuxedo black and white. Best wishes from across the pond 💜🇬🇧
Thank you so very much for such kind words! Welcome to my channel. Oh I know the gingers have their own personality! Awww I love the tuxedo kitties too!
This is adorable! Just started learning to crochet a couple of weeks ago but having problems with getting past the single stitch. Hopefully I’ll be able to catch on and eventually make something like this…I’ve been wanting to make coasters really badly and this is inspiring. ❤
Fun project; just what I was looking for 😊 I would like to follow again , as i would like to make more, one thing though - could you please turn down your background music? It was kind of distracting while counting stitches. Again - thank you; enjoyed making these.
Thank you! No, this one is actually acrylic. It definitely gives off cotton vibes, but it's not as stiff as cotton is so it's easier to work with. I love working with it.
Thank you for the tutorial. One suggestion please focus the camera on your work. Sometimes I didn't know what your doing. The camera focused on the pile of coasters n the thread. No offence meant
just a few pointers. 1- Your hand placement in camera view, needs more attention (as many have mentioned) 2- As you deem this pattern 'easier' many newcomers will probably watch your video. So when explaining the pattern itself, it would be helpful if you were clearer and slower with your instructions. When constantly talking throughout the video (which is obviously fine), people will find it hard to understand the pattern verbally and without a written outline it can be very frustrating. Personal preference - It makes it a lot easier to understand patterns verbally, if you refer to -2 double crochets in 1 stitch as a double crochet increase, rather than 2 double crochets, as this can be extremely confusing. Also please don't take my comments as me being rude or disrespectful. I am very grateful that you have uploaded this pattern, i am simply stating things that I think you and your videos would benefit from in the future.
Hi I have a question... how do you keep your cat's hair off of your work? I have a dog that sheds, and my Son also has a cat and I am ALWAYS trying to keep his hair or fur off of my projects.
I like the video but your music a little too loud which distracts from following you step by step also it would be good if you show the slip stitches so we can see how many stitches you place in each corners. I love animals but the cat was a bit distracting

Thank you, so glad you enjoyed it!

LOL great question! Honestly it is just part of having a cat or dog, but I do keep my works in progress in my crochet bag which really helps.

Thank you. In my recent videos I've been working on staying in frame and no music. Thank you for the advice and for watching! Animals are amazing!
To fast hard to see what she is doing.
Cannot see what she is doing need to adjust your camera
Thank you, I have in my recent videos. I may do a new one for coasters so it's better for everyone to follow along. Thank you for watching.
You keep getting out of your camera…can’t see your stitches
