If they can bring back Andrew Scott's Moriarty then without a shadow of a doubt, I'm definitely sure they can do the same with Jared Harris's Moriarty for Sherlock Holmes 3. Two best versions of the Napoleon of Crime I have ever seen.
It would be a tired villain, though. He has had such a buildup to his death, and I think that that would be ruined if he were to be resurrected in such a way.
I don't see how Moriarty could return in the sequel, when they fell over the falls he drowned and died. Sherlock survived because he stole Mycroft's oxygen device.

The bittersweet irony here is that if Holmes and Moriatty had fought that would have bought time for Watson to arrive, the professor may be a skilled boxer but Watson is more experienced so may have turned the tide.
I think he should have already pushed off and in slow motion Watson comes in Holmes closes his eyes and goes over. We all know there would have been no need to go back off the ledge cause he and Watson would have made easy work of Moriarty

Didn't Holmes predict fighting Moriarty with Watson . 2 on 1 , I think they would've won.
Or Moriarty kill firts Watson and after Holmes.
He couldn't know that Wattson was on his way, he could just as easily be still dealing with the situation in side.

But Moriarty likely would have survived a fight and he is a clever man. Holmes' action was the right one to take him out once and for all.
