At my house in S. Florida we had a regular visitor - a red headed woodpecker- who simply wouldn’t give up his tapping on the treated telephone pole out by the street, He was the most determined and (literally!) the most hard headed bird I’ve ever seen ! We got used to seeing him and had to wonder how long it would be before he caught on to the futility! AND.. at 14 we went fishing of off of the bridges in the Keys. The very first fish I ever caught was a puffer fish and he sure puffed up!
When I was renting a mobilehome, I had this crazy woodpecker who'd wake me every morning pecking on the woodgrain aluminum trim right above my bedroom window! Weird bird.
Many years ago, when I lived out in the sticks, in Kansas, I had this derpy dog, named Harley. He barked at passing cars, he barked at fence-posts, he barked at blowing grass... but he especially barked at his best friend, a spadefoot toad that lived under our shed. Now, I tagged the toad with the name Jabba the Hop, and while it might not've been the most original name, it was the most apt, because Jabba was so fat, his little feet barely touched the ground, and not enough for him to actually hop. This is where Harley comes in. Every morning, Jabba would wriggle and writhe, and dig his way out of his burrow under the shed, and Harley would be there to greet him, and roll him across the yard to the wading pool (which we kept for the dogs because it gets hot, and they like to play in the water). There, this fat toad would sit all day, catching mosquitos, and as the sun was going down, Harley would roll him back to the shed. I swear! If I hadn't seen it myself, I wouldn't have believed it, either. Anyhow, the air grew crisp, the leaves began to fall, and Jabba stopped crawling out of his burrow. Harley spent weeks just sitting by the shed, waiting for his buddy, who never showed. He finally found other doggie things to do, and one of them was playing football with the kids (more like stealing the football from them). Then, one warm spring day, Harley stopped dead in the middle of hijacking the ball again, his ears perked up. Then with a soft woof, he ran to the shed, and did a little doggie dance, his tail whipping back and forth like Jaden Smith's hair, and out scrambled Jabba, much thinner than when we last saw him. And yes, Harley rolled Jabba to his spot next to the pool, just like before.
That is… beautiful. The friendship between Harley and Jabba is strange, yet amazing. To see two completely different species somehow make a friendship work… Nature is beautiful.
I binge watch this! Love when the new ones come out. If only school could have been this fun. I learn and laugh til my sides hurt. Thank you so much for the in depth content!
05:45 you're just so funny, time passes by and Be Amazing is still fascinating in its own unique way and noo, unfortunately I don't know about any super animals to share, honestly every time I think you're done talking about animals you still manage to come up with new discoveries and share with us, I can only imagine how incredibly hard it is to find these
Ohhhhhh I never knew that the Pufferfish makes these beautiful circles 🫨 How can one not love a Pufferfish! They are so awesome 😊 Thanks Be Amazed ❤️ Edit: I never knew about the cute Woodpecker's tongue either!! 😱😱😱
Well, the echidna does have a very unique feature that you probably can't mention on a family friendly UA-cam channel. Though the platypus member is just as freaky.
As a metalhead, i can confirm that the head-ache and pain in the neck stings like hell. It literally feels like someone tries to crack your head open and your neck feels like someone tried to spin your head around a million times. It hurts alot. Trust me. I know. I still experience neck pain and head-aches, despite not having attended any metal festivals over the recent three years.
The 'portable air conditioner' would really work in the summer of Australia! Thanks so much for the video! I love learning facts about animals and when someone asks how I know, BE AMAZED is almost always my answer.
I am terrified of spiders and tbh the ogre-faced spider is one of the few that I find absolutely adorable. Those big silly eyes make it look like it's perpetually in a state of "oh, no!" and I love it so much.
Fabulous video as ever 😊 I have to say that I loved the puffer fish sand design, that's absolutely fin-tastic 🤣 Which is no worse than Be Amazeds terrible puns 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I got a good giggle from BeAmazed talking about a circle of trash cans around his house lol...I think that'd attract bears, and raccoons for sure. Maybe some messy humans too. :P

With the Spadefoot Toad I have noticed that if you listen carefully and if there are a bunch croaking all at once it almost sounds like another toad finishes the call of the first.

I think the Ogre-Faced spider is cute. Just me?

you stopped by my chanel I say thank you
My theory is it’s woodpeckers adapting to having less trees from *deforestation* by pecking at metal poles.

No one talks about how smart this guy is he knows about almost everything!!
One of the reasons woodpeckers can peck so fast is because the tongue wrapping around the skull works as a type of shock absorber.
Im shocked how amaizing thoes animals were
Im hoping that BE AMAZED uploads more amaizing videos and content
