It tends to be true irl too. Africa is a wealthy place full of natural resources and few real threats to civilization (dangerous animals aren't existential threats to civilization). Meanwhile Russia, a barren, frigid, blasted waste, is constantly trying to end its own inhabitants via the weather and harsh conditions. Africa has, historically, been constantly plagued by infighting, war, slavery, and betrayal. Meanwhile Russia has been united in its entirety more often than not. Humans suffer from success.
FINALLY someone who recognizes that Civilization vids are at their PEAK when the conflicts are ORGANIC and not FORCED into separate teams via admins and also making them unable to "teamkill". No matter what, if you leave the players without instruction they WILL make factions all on their own, Which also allows for internal conflicts too. Literally the only other time i've seen this done correctly like that was in two videos from IGoByLotsOfNames and your Backrooms video.

The first plans for the nation was to be as defensive as possible, and I was part of a team that brainstormed and solved lots of our problems stemming from our weakness to fire. It's great to see that the Schroomites basically did nothing of what was originally planned, as they were some of the least planned people I have ever met; and their government system lead to each sector being led by someone who then thought that they knew best in every situation and never listened to the ideas of others.
In the end only a handful of seclusive hermits that lived in elaborate defencive systems was all that was left of the schroomite race. Kinda ironic consideirng you're comment.

I feel like theshroomites could have easily stomped so hard. Just gather all the players and draw lots. There are ten lots that mean death, and do ritualistic sacrifices. You will have 40 players with 20 extra hearts, which should be insanely terrifying to face against.
Actually, roosters4dayz was the leader of the arachnid race, but he was too focused on the military, so everyone else split apart from him, leading to the rebels being slaughtered and rooster being the strongest military power. No one loves the warrior, until the enemy is at the gates.
New Idea: Four artifacts are located, and the only way for a civilization to win is for one on their citizens to hold all four artifacts at once. However, once a leader is decided, they can exile and introduce any person they see fit, meaning, for example, rebels from another country could be added into another civilization or even merge civilizations. Having a spy already embedded into every civilization would also cause chaos. It would nice to see what would happen. Would the world try to unite into a single government? Have one government defeat every other civilization in war and combat. Some real interesting things are about to happen.
It would devolve into everyone killing each other. As any attempts to try anything is ruined by people who act like pvp is the only thing to do in these simulations. I would like to see one where the goal is to build a prosperous society, THAT would be interesting.

The group of players had allied with COK and helped them ambush the Human Republic. for the origins mod, there could be a slight permanent power boost for humans after they beat the dragon. just so their not completely outplayed by the other adapted origins
This one was definitely better because of the more diverse factions that were not forged by race but betrayal and allegiance it also had a "happy" ending instead of the genicide of humans
The problem I had with the last one is that many comments claim “realistic” but it’s more like the humans were so hell bent on being the villains. It’s not realistic, it’s a bunch of suicidal dumbasses that want to be the bad guys but with none of the strength of actual people who have the “superior” mindset.
On behalf of The Crypt and Null, I promise to make a more significant impact (cuz I guess breaking the *cough* unbreakable *cough* blaze spawner wasn't thaaaaaat important) in the next season so that we will actually get mentioned in the video 😂😂😂😂 But for real tho, thank you so much IHN!!! ah i remember the preparations for this, the shroomite war lord, faking myself as an official ambassador to the shroomite people, getting invited to the top 1 percent server wherein I was accused a spy and stayed up until 1 am conversing about the threat of the 5th column, and being an ambassador to the sheldonians, arachnids, and undying on behalf of the shroomite. i went afk for 2 months after I realized I didn't have a Minecraft account. fun times
I have a theory that the more powerful a race is the quicker its society collapses look at the schoomites they had the potential to be the most powerful race on the server and had the power to grow in strength infinity with death and there nature would've lead them to war and that would only make them stronger the more of them that died the stronger the ones around grew, instead they immediately split themselves into too factions and wiped themselves out for the most part. Then look at the humans they were the weakest race by far but they were always able to recover and were a major power through the intire thing even when. They went through 3 genacides and major attacks on them.

The best civilization video in terms of editing. My jaws dropped at the beginning of Day 8; the editing really set the tone and the magnitude of the final battle. 10/10, would watch again.
You skipped over some stuff. Like how people got information about secret stuff. The big assassination plot by the undying for instance. That seems like something they would have kept quiet about
Cool video as always, but once again it inevitably descends into chaos and bloodshed. It'd be cool if there were different ways to show superiority than just by conquering other people's lands; I'm reminded of Sid Meier's Civilization franchise, where there are various victory conditions besides domination, such as science, culture, religion, and diplomacy. Something along those lines could make these types of videos less predictable and more exciting. Victory conditions in this context could be something like being the first to reach the End, developing infrastructure to have the most employed villagers, accumulating the highest amount of a given resource like diamonds or emeralds, etc. Basically, it'd be nice to see a gameplay loop other than "fight each other, betray teammates, splinter off and/or merge into different groups, fight each other some more."
You should definitely consider the voip mod that Hermitcraft uses, as well as starting players on one large island with lots of variation. You could also add in events like famines, blood moons, etc. just to keep things spicy
@@coolhunter3 for starters, the VOIP mod isn't used by many of the videos. Second, there's a reason people do those videos, they're fantastic. Third, of course they can still add their spin on it
I thought you would’ve included “The crypt” but I guess you never known what happened. I don’t remember his YT his team had hidden the information about the blaze spawner from his own race and other races and destroyed it after farming enough for himself.
The corruption wrecked Arachnids and Undying, causing then to split and allowing the ones who allied themselves with the humans to win despite their previous defeat against the arachnids, and also, the shroomites died because some players wanted to be all powerful
Now imagine this All the races have to band up together to face new threats -Parasites -An AI hivemind that can assimilate anything it kills and upgrade that player's/mob's abilities -The illagers with their Redstone Golems -A deadly biomass -A race of Mutants -Aliens And -A necromancer with an army of the undead
Ya know, compared to most of these minecraft social experiment videos, yours are without a doubt the BEST by far. The main reason to me is that yours seem less scripted and more genuine than the rest, and even if there is actually a lot of scripting and set ups, its very hard to notice and everything seems believable and legitimate. Keep it up man, love em.

Man really good video actually, I love the story of the shroomites and how unique each individual island was. But what actually happened at the end, there were so many split factions it was so confusing
See I feel like in the end the undead had an advantage, think about it with curse of vanishing on all of their armor it means that all that armor can never be obtained by the enemy which means there is no possibility of the enemy gaining the upper hand by taking their armor, thus they basically have a permanent advantage unless the other races want to March into their territory to get some armor themselves
Idea for the next 4 races: Humans (ofc) Infernals: have the drink lava to survive, can spit fire, deal a burn effect to non-infernals within a 3 block radius but can't wear armour since it just melts Amphibians (similar to Merlins ik): Can tame fish which will attack enemies when underwater, can swim faster, do double damage with tridents, effects of land and water reversed, so when put of water slowly die and mine slower Tribesmen: Mine wood faster, get twice as much wood for every block mined, can shoot bows further, can jump 3 blocks into air but can't leave the jungle or they slowly die

ah i remember the preparations for this, the shroomite war lord, faking myself as an official ambassador to the shroomite people, getting invited to the top 1 percent server wherein I was accused a spy and stayed up until 1 am conversing about the threat of the 5th column, and being an ambassador to the sheldonians, arachnids, and undying on behalf of the shroomite. i went afk for 2 months after I realized I didn't have a Minecraft account. fun times

To bad instead of trying to form peace he wasted the lives of practicaly nearly every remaining shroomite.
I have a theory that the more powerful a race is the quicker its society collapses look at the schoomites they had the potential to be the most powerful race on the server and had the power to grow in strength infinity with death and there nature would've lead them to war and that would only make them stronger the more of them that died the stronger the ones around grew, instead they immediately split themselves into too factions and wiped themselves out for the most part. Then look at the humans they were the weakest race by far but they were always able to recover and were a major power through the intire thing even when. They went through 3 genacides and major attacks on them.
the schroomites tried there best from avoiding this from happening, but in the process just made it worst
The humans were actually very strong in that we had a plethora of villagers, it’s partially why the initial attack from CoK happened

The best civilization video in terms of editing. My jaws dropped at the beginning of Day 8; the editing really set the tone and the magnitude of the final battle. 10/10, would watch again.

Cool video as always, but once again it inevitably descends into chaos and bloodshed. It'd be cool if there were different ways to show superiority than just by conquering other people's lands; I'm reminded of Sid Meier's Civilization franchise, where there are various victory conditions besides domination, such as science, culture, religion, and diplomacy. Something along those lines could make these types of videos less predictable and more exciting. Victory conditions in this context could be something like being the first to reach the End, developing infrastructure to have the most employed villagers, accumulating the highest amount of a given resource like diamonds or emeralds, etc. Basically, it'd be nice to see a gameplay loop other than "fight each other, betray teammates, splinter off and/or merge into different groups, fight each other some more."

You should definitely consider the voip mod that Hermitcraft uses, as well as starting players on one large island with lots of variation.
You could also add in events like famines, blood moons, etc. just to keep things spicy

The Crypt only destroyed to Blaze spawner tbh. Not much to talk about besides the behind the scenes secrets
The spiders splitting up was possibly the stupidest thing ever
The corruption wrecked Arachnids and Undying, causing then to split and allowing the ones who allied themselves with the humans to win despite their previous defeat against the arachnids, and also, the shroomites died because some players wanted to be all powerful
Now imagine this
All the races have to band up together to face new threats
-Parasites
-An AI hivemind that can assimilate anything it kills and upgrade that player's/mob's abilities
-The illagers with their Redstone Golems
-A deadly biomass
-A race of Mutants
-Aliens
And
-A necromancer with an army of the undead
Ya know, compared to most of these minecraft social experiment videos, yours are without a doubt the BEST by far. The main reason to me is that yours seem less scripted and more genuine than the rest, and even if there is actually a lot of scripting and set ups, its very hard to notice and everything seems believable and legitimate. Keep it up man, love em.

See I feel like in the end the undead had an advantage, think about it with curse of vanishing on all of their armor it means that all that armor can never be obtained by the enemy which means there is no possibility of the enemy gaining the upper hand by taking their armor, thus they basically have a permanent advantage unless the other races want to March into their territory to get some armor themselves

Idea for the next 4 races:
Humans (ofc)
Infernals: have the drink lava to survive, can spit fire, deal a burn effect to non-infernals within a 3 block radius but can't wear armour since it just melts
Amphibians (similar to Merlins ik):
Can tame fish which will attack enemies when underwater, can swim faster, do double damage with tridents, effects of land and water reversed, so when put of water slowly die and mine slower
Tribesmen: Mine wood faster, get twice as much wood for every block mined, can shoot bows further, can jump 3 blocks into air but can't leave the jungle or they slowly die
