Japan 2024 - Ep. 7: Fushimi Inari and Byodo-in

In this episode of "Japan 2024", filmed on September 7, 2024, we spend our morning at one of Japan’s most iconic and spiritual locations-Fushimi Inari Taisha. We walk the sacred paths lined with thousands of vibrant red torii gates, feeling the deep cultural and spiritual significance of this place.
In the afternoon, we visit the serene Byodo-in Temple, a beautiful reflection of Japan’s classical architecture, surrounded by lush gardens and tranquil ponds. Its Phoenix Hall is a breathtaking sight, offering a peaceful contrast to the busy morning.
We end the day with a memorable dinner in Kyoto's Pontocho district, dining on delicious yakiniku at a riverside restaurant, soaking in the lively yet intimate atmosphere of one of Kyoto's most iconic streets.
