  • In this video I react to Eruption and The Dance of Eternity by Unlucky Morpheus (Live). Two great instrumentals. I didn't have violin cover of a Van Halen guitar solo on my bingo card today but wow.

Violinist Jill is a rather unique case, she has been playing the violin since she was 3, but her teacher was of the old school and did not like notes, forcing her to play everything by ear. Now she can play the sound of rain by ear, which she once demonstrated in her videos.
The bassist is a teacher at the Tokyo Academy of Music, in the bass guitar class.
This is not a full group, the group also includes the founders: guitarist, composer and screamer Shiren, and the main singer Fuki.

Doing this live is just insane. Four of them. Remember, violin got only four strings and you can't tap with a bow, and got many keys (strings) and ten fingers to play on a keybord. Insane, lol!! Jill's so sweet additionally.

Quadratum,, a subgroup of Unlucky Morpheus, minus Fuki (vo.) and Shiren (gt., co-founder). Check out Far Beyond the Sun (Yngwie Malmsteen cover,) and For the Love of God (Steve Vai cover.)🔥 Or check out Dignity of Spirit, official live video (Unlucky Morpheus)!❤️

I have seen them live in Londo, the only time they have played outside Japan. They are such a great band live.
They were booked to play some shows in the US, but the guy that booked them cheeped out on the visa's for them, and did not get visa's that allowed them to play. Ever since they have been really weary about going overseas. You have to remember that they are an independent band, so normaly arrange everything themselves, and booking overseas shows is a logistical nightmare to set up.
They have said they'd like to tour overseas, but can't see it happening in the foreseeable future. Which is one of the reasons why I'd like to see the bigger Japanese bands that tour, bring other Japanese bands with them.
