I’d rather have the flexibility of fuel and increased range of hybrid. I’m a hybrid guy. Toyota was smart to put their research into hybrids not EVs in my opinion. But this is a good start into the EV market for them as they slowly progress into more models. It would be a great vehicle for a certain crowd, but not most people at this point.
I like everything about it except for that high gloss black plastic in the center console...also a bit too much hard plastic within arms reach of the drivers seat.

Most people buys Toyota for reliability and durability. Lexus customers obviously can spend more money and willing to pay the luxury design of Lexus. If you like Lexus then buy lexus... overall mr Toyota doesn't care Toyota or Lexus, he owns both of them.
252mi is small for you? How far is your work drive back and forth? I drive 50mi each way and with this price ($35k including rebates) , man, its a free car.. My Volt Chevy 2012 has 230k mi in it and i'm planning on trading it with this ( dont care if it has value or not, the gas money i saved for 10 years paid for for the car, basically it is free).
Tesla would have dusted you.....I think this vehicle is more in line with competing with the Chevrolet Bolt. The Bold has more range, the Toyota charges a little faster. From the rear of the vehicle it seemed to be a jittery drive, quiet, but all EVs are quiet. I also believe the Bold it faster from 0-60. Great looking car though. Love Toyota...they build a better car then GM or Ford.

You would expect better range from Toyota in Florida where your AC running that's more like 150 MI it's not enough I have a Toyota RAV4 hybrid which get close to 600 MI I will never buy that with that kind of range even though it looks good and everything but no way

Like child with toy, after years of years clinging to obsolete ICE cars finaly discovers EV many years later. Instead of explaining tech things of this beautifull car, things like adaptive cruise control adapts to speeds limits, how navigation needed to preheat battery before charge, that real usable battery on bz4x is 62kWh (not 64) and so on. Nowadays need to filter tru tons of videos with talking ICE heads who wake up in digital age. At least filming angle is good in this video, no talking head, I`ll give you that.

It’s a slightly adjusted Rav 4, stylistically. Far better for being all electric!
