All the decisions made by Sword was perfect except the Last Decision of holding their base, which would have been a great strategy, only if they had made various traps beforehand.
that and when they were under 10 players he should have gave up on fighting and just ran while while hiding and waiting for the alliance to falter or spread out and then pick them one by one.
yeah the leadership was great but they made the first mistake when they choose to attack and got to confident. they should have build a better base with more traps and should have waited to maybe ambush the enemy allience. but still this was one of the most entartaining minecraft civilization videos ever
When the whole server teamed up just to beat your team you already know how scary and strong you guys are damn.... And that leadership and teamwork was amazing if you just stick together till the end you might still have a chance. Love it all❤

Letting 32st keep the armor was the most crucial mistake. He had shown he wasn't a team player by hiding the fact that he was trying to craft knight armor for himself. And he just proved it by separating thinking he is strong and giving up free armor to the most stacked team. 😂 Props to artee, he was the best choice for the armor because he was always there with sword. I reckon Eldeathly would've been the same if Sword gave him the chance and chose him as one of the 3 knights instead of 32st

Lesson, dont be too stacked or you'll get teamed on, and dont be too weak or you'll be killed easily. and, build relationships early so that you have less future enemies
You forgot keeping your team in order and fortify more. Red's numbers would've been closer to the alliance if Red had stayed orderly and not get separated, Sword realised this too late. A hundred one man armies would lose to 100 well organised players working as team, even if they're less skilled individually. Red team when on the defense were just waiting out in the open. The only fortification they had was a single tower. Red had the advantage when attacking with how much stronger they were, but they were ill equipped for defending. With their numerical disadvantage, their best bet would've been to funnel the enemies to take away their strength in numbers.
The real lesson is that you're weak run crying to others more powerful for alliance to take down the superpower. The fact that Blue was on the 'winning' team is offensive. After Red was gone they should have been forced to fight one another until only one team was victorious.

Honestly, great leadership and tactics. You and your team kept each other safe, pooled resources, and built each other up. It was cool to see a leader actually being a leader! The final battle really makes me think about what kind of strategies and tactics Minecraft civilization events work best. Someone really should do “The Art of War: Minecraft Civilization Edition.”
it really adds to it when you think about the fact that had they not been so open with their power the others wouldn't have allied against them. MC civilizations really do emulate real wars.
@@dembi2770 the numbers advantage and armor advantage wasn't something you can hide. It said the crafting of gear in chat and showed the players on tab. The two things sword did bad that cursed him the game was how he let his men split up at the start of the invasion of green and when chasing guys they lost a couple really geared players, and then if they set up some sort of defense and strategy that could make the fight more linear and enable them to fight together rather than being charged at and having people get ganked. Traps too would of helped a ton by killing some people or singling them out.
I think about this guide paper books in store about Minecraft as guided for building solution, redstone mechanizm, how to explore and etc. I wish to read one day minecraft guide book "The Art Of War: Minecraft Civilizations"
Gotta love Red team deciding to pull a defensive strat instead of an offensive strat, yet they did absolutely nothing to setup a defense in all that time they had to prepare. They just stood there doing nothing Blue team setup a better defensive base, but they didn't end up able to use it in the end
VERY EXCITING! Maybe a few Traps around your your entire base would have been a good idea. That way you could have eliminated a bunch of thier teams before even engaging in Combat.
I hated it that all the 3 civilizations teamed up just to defeat you guys. You guys are the true winners. They all had to team up against you. They were afraid you guys showed them who's boss. You stepped on their faces. Because you guys were victorious. They were the losers for having to team up.

They did everything they needed to do to win that war in preparation yet they still lost just because everyone else was so weak. I think your biggest mistake was not going after Orange team first. The Green and Blue alliance was weak due to lack of trust, yet you chose them first, leading to the members of the Alliance to scatter with your team chasing after them, ignoring the threat of Orange team, who might i add was seen in the Dwarven Caves but was ignored, leading to an obvious flank that went unchallenged as your team was too scattered to combat them efficiently. This brought down your numbers causing your downfall. Other than that this vid was AWESOME, I had fun watching it. ❤
A tip for the next civilization events for anyone participating, do NOT equip any OP items or anything that will be announced in global chat until the last minute, that is to avoid getting the whole server ganging up on you. I've seen this several times, with civilization, showing great power and control, then eventually having their back against the wall as the whole server gangs up on them. Not showing your power until the last minute gives off the impression that you are weak, then it will cause them to lower their guard and you'll have an easier time dealing with them as you can catch them off guard.

I think in the future there should be a rule against teaming, kinda defeats the purpose of multiple civilizations, I enjoy the unpredictability of these event, but only to a fair extent, y'all won.

Red team is on fire. The team work and Swords leadership definitely impressed me the whole time.
I think your biggest mistake was not going after Orange team first.
The Green and Blue alliance was weak due to lack of trust, yet you chose them first, leading to the members of the Alliance to scatter with your team chasing after them, ignoring the threat of Orange team, who might i add was seen in the Dwarven Caves but was ignored, leading to an obvious flank that went unchallenged as your team was too scattered to combat them efficiently.
This brought down your numbers causing your downfall.
Other than that this vid was AWESOME, I had fun watching it. ❤

A tip for the next civilization events for anyone participating, do NOT equip any OP items or anything that will be announced in global chat until the last minute, that is to avoid getting the whole server ganging up on you. I've seen this several times, with civilization, showing great power and control, then eventually having their back against the wall as the whole server gangs up on them. Not showing your power until the last minute gives off the impression that you are weak, then it will cause them to lower their guard and you'll have an easier time dealing with them as you can catch them off guard.
