Hey! I'm Christy :) I am a mama of 6 through adoption and birth. We're a colorful family with a variety of ethnicities living in Las Vegas. Welcome to my channel and all the love and chaos that comes with it! My husband and I grew our family through foster care adoptions. I really love your videos. You make motherhood look so easy! Some women just seems so together when it comes to motherhood.
I never liked the home school idea. It brings other problems. Social issues, etc. The biggest issue is whether home schooling is desired to avoid bullying or other difficulties that could be going on
My only expertise on this subject is PARENTING... It was spring and I was on the playground playing catch with my son Spencer. I threw a wild ball that flew over my son's head... he turned around and ran toward the ball... I noticed he was having difficulty seeing the ball so I directed him... after picking up the ball... Spencer walked towards me and looked back... he asked "How did you see that from here?" At that moment, I realized he had vision problems... I asked him what he'd seen... two yards in front of him was a blur and somehow this wasn't discovered during his pediatric eye exams... my son said "I thought that was how everyone's eyes worked." Children today... especially those using computers and other handheld devices experience vision problems that require continuous adjustments and signals from the brain... I know you are very aware... I'm old and my advice to you is to educate them on vision problems... tired eyes... especially while using a computer. Seeing your little one turn her head while on the computer prompted my statement.

I love your videos. Your house looks lived in and a bit of messy in a good, comfy way. And I like that you don’t try to show off, by making a big, stylish breakfast, decorated like in a restaurant, just something quick and tasty. Sometimes other family videos make me feel so unorganized, but you seem to manage to get important things like schoolwork done with your kids and still embrace the chaos. 😀
