My game broke right at the end. After he runs from the sun. My team and I loaded in a cart somewhere in the city. I couldn’t do any to get out. Nothing seemed to fix it either. No ending for me. 😔
So does it let you run around after the game ends then? In the endings I have seen, he just sort of ran off after the fight because the sun was burning him, and then it went to credits. That said, those were really early so it could have just been because they sprinted right to the end and didn't finish any of the sidequests. Did you side with the Emperor, or Orpheus? @@Nayukhuut Ah I get what you mean now. Basically if you romance Astarion then the scene that was in this video will play out right after the cutscene with the absolute dying and astarion starting to burn but before the credits. So normally how it would play out is that it will show that big cutscene of the big brain dying and all the characters being on the docks. Once that is finished there is another cutscene showing the city that just talks about how the player character has became a hero of Baldurs gate. Then once that scene is over it immediately cuts to the final scene with the romance partner (in this video that final scene is with astarion) and then the credits come up afterwards. There is no gameplay between the 3 cutscenes just dialogue options
@@madman7902 Okies, thankie very kindly. The endings I watched had been very early, so they prolly just hadn't done any of the romance or class quests. I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question. :)

@julia-xd8vo Boo. I was thinking they would have included something for that. But, if that's one of the major complaints then I'd say the game is still going strongly.
this is the best spoiler. my first play through i sped run it like an idiot just doing the main quests, i missed all important scenes with him. 30 hours in i defeated cazador, no romance second play through, 35 hours in, just defeated cazador, and he told me he LOVES ME AND SPREAD HIS CHEEKS ON HIS GRSVE FOR ME. i saw a tik tok of him burning up at the end, and the way i PANICKED. but this… this made it all worth it
Not really. If you haven't found out about the ritual from Raphael, Astarion just says that book mention about his scars and ritual. And if Raphael told you about the origin of Astarion scars then he says that book mentioned info he knew already.
The books end result is dance macabre, a spell to summon about 6 lvl 6 ghouls. Very strong because they can paralyze permacc easily and they're all tanky. But anyone that reads the book gets that if all rolls are successes
I started watching this and got upset at first, almost yelling at the screen "No, you can't do that to Astarion!" 😭 But then I realised that it was going through all the options. So I feel rather silly now 😅
Question to those who played it, is it possible to save the noblestalk from the underdark quest and instead of giving it to shadowheart giving it to him? Not sure if it can cure vampyrism, but i used it and thinking if I should go back and see what happens if I keep it.
How can i make him good and not evil do i need to do something on specific because in my first play i want my character to be good and i know he dislikes that can i still romance him🤔🤔🤔
i chose a folk hero background, was essentially good and it was still possible. you don’t even need to really be mean to everyone 😅 just be nice to him and choose deception in dialogues from time to time (charismatic sorcerer really worked for me there). what was funny though that i reached an exceptional approval with Lae’zel with that behaviour 😂😅

Honestly? He's pretty chill, I've done the bare minimum on being a dick. I mostly lie when a NPC is being shady or a huge prick, displayed a intimidation choice at the goblin camp, and have had no issues romancing him.
you don't have to be too much of a dick. for example helping the myconids grants approval, getting and petting scratch, feeding the owlbear cub, telling aunty ethel about the worms straight up, giving him the necromancy book, etc. he values personal freedom and being his own person so supporting him when he reveals he's a vampire and letting him feed is also good. he doesn't like helping others sure but the amount of little things that raise his affinity outside this is enough to get good approval without being a bastard to everyone.

weird that i didn’t get this scene at all even though i romanced him. he just ran off and credits started rolling and after credits i only got the withers scene and raphael. did i do sth wrong? 🤔
EDIT: i reloaded and chose different options at the end with Orpheus and Karlach which helped.. still strange. then i once again tried persuading Orpheus to live and Karlach to go with Wyll to Avernus and again the ending dialogue with Astarion didn’t trigger. wonder if it is intentional or a bug. but seems mostly like a bug cuz it doesn’t make sense why would choices for Orpheus or Karlach block an ending dialogue..
Thanks for showing the entire dialogue tree
Well, at least it's good to know he survived the sunrise after the netherbrain death.
oh thank goodness, he sounds so much happier and human here.
So I haven't gotten to the end of his story yet, taking my time and exploring. But, uh. What happens if you use the vampire bite on cazador?
@julia-xd8vo Boo. I was thinking they would have included something for that. But, if that's one of the major complaints then I'd say the game is still going strongly.
It won't let you, it says you can't use it on the undead :(
this is the best spoiler. my first play through i sped run it like an idiot just doing the main quests, i missed all important scenes with him. 30 hours in i defeated cazador, no romance
second play through, 35 hours in, just defeated cazador, and he told me he LOVES ME AND SPREAD HIS CHEEKS ON HIS GRSVE FOR ME.
i saw a tik tok of him burning up at the end, and the way i PANICKED. but this… this made it all worth it
Breaking up with astarion at the moment when he least expects it will never not be hilarious
This is the ending I need to get 😭
However I need to know whether I should give him the Thay of Necromancy - does that change anything?
Not really. If you haven't found out about the ritual from Raphael, Astarion just says that book mention about his scars and ritual. And if Raphael told you about the origin of Astarion scars then he says that book mentioned info he knew already.
@@FirstAssistantOfEvil Oo okay interesting thank you
The books end result is dance macabre, a spell to summon about 6 lvl 6 ghouls. Very strong because they can paralyze permacc easily and they're all tanky. But anyone that reads the book gets that if all rolls are successes
I started watching this and got upset at first, almost yelling at the screen "No, you can't do that to Astarion!" 😭
But then I realised that it was going through all the options.
So I feel rather silly now 😅
lol, curious as i was, i could never force myself to make any of the mean choices, but at least now i've seen them 😛
The outfit is Gortash’s Gear mod
It's not a mod, you can loot his outfit from his corpse
While I can appreciate a good, romantic, and successful relationship.....I only accept the ball shot ending as the cannon good ending.
What’s that

Feel free to answer
Question to those who played it, is it possible to save the noblestalk from the underdark quest and instead of giving it to shadowheart giving it to him? Not sure if it can cure vampyrism, but i used it and thinking if I should go back and see what happens if I keep it.
if you want to give it to shadowheart and to the vendors, you just switch character while talking to shadowheart and drop it from your inventory
Oh wow his gear is so good. When and where do you get it? Im still on Act 2 so maybe further down the road it will appear somewhere if im lucky
It’s from a main story quest so won’t spoil but youll figure it out
@@JordanJumpin oh yeah I got to that cs and I was like oh that’s the outfit I asked about lol but thank you!
"If thats what you want"
Hes definitely coming to kill you later LMAO
How do you get this ending, I want this ending. What do I do? Do I need to remove the paracite and convince him not to do the ritual?
How can i make him good and not evil do i need to do something on specific because in my first play i want my character to be good and i know he dislikes that can i still romance him🤔🤔🤔
Ask for rewards for helping people instead of blind altruism. But yes, you can still romance him regardless of your alignment.
@@AkiraFudou thanks you so much i was a little worried 😁
i chose a folk hero background, was essentially good and it was still possible. you don’t even need to really be mean to everyone 😅 just be nice to him and choose deception in dialogues from time to time (charismatic sorcerer really worked for me there). what was funny though that i reached an exceptional approval with Lae’zel with that behaviour 😂😅
Waaait how did you get him that outfit? He looks soooo good!
fr i need
What gear is Astarion wearing in this, it looks so cool!! 😍
4:31 Is there really any chance of a vampire spawn being able to walk in the sun in the universe of baldur's gate 3?
How’d you get here? I haven’t seen anybody talk about Astarion becoming a true vampire and being kind to you afterwards
He's not a true vampire in this ending.
how to get the dialogues after game ends? I just see the credits
It's bugged :/ Spoiler Below -
the same happened to me and I had to reload, you have to let Karlach die ,
@@dovahbomser5232 that worked! thank you. i didn't want to do that to Karlach, but if that's what it takes for me to get this final scene, so be it. :D love Astarion too much.
I didn’t get this cutscene 😭 game cut straight to credits after the fight
YOUR CHARACTER IS SO BEAUTIFUL?!?!?!?!?
Yes?
@@DarkAdonisVyers YOU DID AN AMAZING JOB!!! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
@@i.j.5384 Not my character, but I agree that the player who posted this video did a good job.
What outfit is he wearing?! It looks amazing on him!
Please astarion take my gender and my knees I don’t need them anymore
Astarion good ending can be set up for lot more future BG appearance like Jaheira and Misnc. (Honestly Misnc return due to being petrified is funny but good reason)
Does Astarion like the tentacle face?
how do you get this scene? last cutscene of his romance I got was in the graveyard
Your PC is beautiful, what robe are you wearing?
OMG you ICE QUEEN! 😂 You broke up with him after all THAT!? kick him in the huts, too, why dontcha?
How did you get this to trigger, I romanced Astarion did his good ending and beat the boss of the game but never got this scene at the end
are you playing has dark urge
Wait I just finished the game, why didn’t I get the end of the cutscene with astarion? Did I miss something?
Hey, where's Astarion's clothing from ? is it mods ? :o
how did you get this cutscene ?
is it romance ending or some sort of after credits interaction?
Am i going through a bug? Because i swear i didn't get this dialogue when finishing the game 😭
T_T how do I get the good ending?
In the description :)
@@lorettarye life saver
Could you also do Wyll romance ending please?
Okay but wtf is he wearing and wheeere can i get it!
yoooooooooooo what do you have him in?????
Where did u get his fit
I never got that scene. How do I get it 😢
What clothes do you got on him is it DLC?
Gortash outfit
What’s outfit he is wearing? It looks so cool
It’s Gortash outfit
All the youtube videos so far posted the sunrise scene of unascended astorion burning and scurring to the underdark, what about the sunrise scene when he's ascended?
Ok.... is this the same voice actor as Pitch Black from Rise of the Guardians????
Nope- Neil Newbon plays Astarion. You're thinking of Jude Law.
I just get Martin Short as Jack Frost vibes.
gg
Can I ask what major choices you made along the way? I want to romance him, but I hate being a dick. 😅
SPOILER!!! You will need to stop the ritual/dissuade him from doing it when there is an opportunity for this ending
How do you get this ending then?
It's just his basic forced good ending, dont let him become vampire ascendent and don't be a dick as the protag and this happens post romance.
@@phugindomasbut how do you prevent him burning in sun?
@@laurencapstick5714sadly there is nothing to prevent him from burning once the tadpole is gone. unless you finish the ritual (which turns him into Cazador 2.0) 😕
