Ochre yellow slave huts because of the sun? Nope they simply painted them this weird color some years ago… they were red before like the pinnacle that stands more close to the old governor’s house.
Dang, I have only seen dolphins racing our boat once but they did have a sweet little baby dolphin with them. Can't wait to actually see them underwater.
I hope you get to! This pod was right outside the Red Slave entry point around noon. After surfacing, we watched them swimming back and forth between around Sweet Dreams down to just north of Lighthouse.
Bonaire is experiencing Stony Coral Tissue Loss and almost all sites are seriously contaminated… lots of bleaching going on all over the dive sites. Strongly advise everyone to first update yourself on the current status because the situation is bad… really really bad…. Drastic measures are being implemented, several dive sites already closed…. Inform yourself before planning a trip to Bonaire.
Very true! When we were there in June, all the sites in Slagbaai Park were closed, and there was required decontamination between many popular dives sites. So sad, but also good to see they are taking measures to try to protect the reefs.
The part where the dolphins showed up was really spectacular! 💪🏁 Probably once in a life time 🏁
It was EPIC! We were shrieking through our regs, LOL!
So cool! Nice video! The dolphins were so cool!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
