Thank you so much for that kind comment, I do appreciate it. I'm not doing videos currently due to various lifestyle changes but I am considering coming back 😊
I’ve always wondered what this game was about, but got confused with all the various editions and extra packs. This cleared things up nicely. I can see a lot of similar mechanics in Sherman Leader, especially the point purchase element. So much fun! I’ll be watching.
I love the personal investment in this game! And don't let the size of the game series put you off. Just buy your preferred conflict era and just add a couple of nations of your choice (or core box only!) And yes I love spending points to put a team together, great fun! Thanks for taking a look Zilla!
I've never been drawn to this one even though it should be right up my street. Not that keen on card games and I always thought the 3 different types of soldiers a bit odd. I like your explanations though so keen to watch more!
I'm pleased you had a look despite not being drawn to cards, thank you! The next video will determine it for you I'm sure. The Player soldier is your role-play guy, he holds a hand of cards. You can also have more than one if you can afford it. The Non-Player soldiers are your buddies who already have their kit. The Squad cards are generic representations of 'the rest of your squad' basically. Hopefully, you'll see this play out :)
It's cards, it's solo and it's easy to play and yet has a brilliant narative. I've always had great fun wth Warfighter. I don't think you'd regret grabbing a cre set!
@@soloboardgaming I really like the variety of forces as well, The French Resistance is cool. I saw another UA-camr play with the Finland if i remember correctly, all in the same game. Really looking forward to your play thru.
Nicely done, my friend. I recently pulled modern off the shelf. I've been spending why to much $ on expansions. Really enjoying your content. I subbed.👍🦅 I recommend getting footlocker and dividers. Worth the investment.
Hi Jester thanks for being here again! If you've not yet done so, you should give it a go. It's genuine fun, brings a smile to your face. And so versatile as regards choice of conflicts and nations. But I guess you have so much stacking up :)
I've wanted to do a Playthrough for my Warfighter for a long time now, so here it is. Introducing and setting up The Maquis! If you enjoy the video please 'Like' and, if you've not done so already, please Subscribe as it does help me such a great deal! More important, please leave a Comment or question below, I enjoy the interaction so much :)
The resources and loadout value reflect the fact that the Maquis were poorly equipped guerrilla fighters. Also, "Quis Custodiet...?" is Latin, not French. It means "Who will watch?".
Watching this in prep for finally getting it, and you are using cards that I'll be picking up :) Been wanting this for ages, and kept talking myself out of it, but am finally getting this game this weekend. Core box + Gear + France 1 + France 2 + Maquis + Dieppe + UK Airborne + US Airborne + US 1 + US 2 . (I want Allied paratrooper support in my Maquis team) Wanted UK 1 & UK 2, but can't find them for sale in the UK (EDIT: Did find them for sale in the UK, but a bit dear), and don't want to pay overseas costs. Also considered getting the horror/Lovecraftian packs, but they can wait a bit. (TBH Might sub out US Airborne, 1, and 2, for Undead lol... OR... sub the US packs for Canada 1 and Canada 2, along with Fortifications, to add in when playing Dieppe. Decisions, decisions!)
Love your videos! By the way the name of the mission “quis custodiet” is not french and not spelled like french. You should read “koo-is koos-tow-dee-at” as it is Latin and means “who will protect”.
@@soloboardgaming thank you for you channel, because of that i bought waterloo solitaire, for me as an not english man :-) you speaking is very clear and pleasant. looking always for reviews of napolionic and ww1 peroid games. all the best from germany :-)
i ditched the WWII Warfighter because their expansion packs are a mess. you get one of the Country expansions...and you get like 6 hostile cards. what am i supposed to do with that? I cant play a mission with 6 hostile cards. or they drizzle out 1 or 2 equipment cards or they give like random crumbs of stuff. it's just dumb. Modern / shadow is much better organized.
Best warfighter playthrough ever! Where are you mr. Paul? There are games to be played!

@@soloboardgaming Do come back mr. Paul! Remember you once promised another Navajo wars playthrough, for example...

I love this game. Be good to see how you get on with the Resistance! Great video btw!
Glad you liked the video. Maquis is a brilliant addition to my Warfighter game. But we're so lightly armed I've no idea how we'll get on. Scary!
great job! Think I am buying !
Yes! Thank you for watching Jon 👍
Very timely!
This series was started before recent events but I'm glad it's about Resistance👍
great show thank you

Hi again, yes you're perfectly correct of course, these brave guys used whatever they could get their hands on. Very thematic cards!

it is good that it is a solo game. i play solo 😁 thank you

I'd like to play this game. Anyone know where I can pick up a copy? Seems to be not there on the dvg website.
Apart from the secondary market, it looks like waiting for the next reprint. Frustrating!
Why does the soldier start with three action? I though the soldiers had only 2 actions?
Hi thank you for watching! Yes I made a mistake but I noticed it at the start of my next video and i corrected it 👍
