bloom go brrr haha lol also regarding constellations: not needed but C2 gives nice RES shred + C1 a bit more hydro app. others help mainly for on field. - not needed at ALL and wasn’t the purpose of this video, but C2 is nice for team DPS and can be worth it (but i typically recommend other more flexible upgrades like nahida/nahida C2). Lvl 90 nilou full hp no need to level anything else (talents, weapon unless key) and ur already doing good damage - just gotta play around her weaknesses. Beware of certain elemental enemies/shields though as nilou teams need only dendro/hydro units (which is where the swapping teams part comes in very clutch, if possible, as I mentioned). nilou very cool 👍 & excuse the delay on this video i had to go pickup my new passport because i lost my old one somehow LMAO
I'm an absolute firm believer of Nilou supremacy. All thanks to Nilou, not only I could easily clear the hardest content without malding and shaving off fractions of my lifespan, her adorably precious cute face, graceful and gorgeous movements cured me from my mental instability, depression and loneliness. Thanks to her, I'm finally able to experience a wholesome, sincere and beautiful love in my life. Thank you, Nilou, I love you to Celestia and back.❤❤❤❤❤
Both nahida and nilou are awesome but qiqi is far cooler than them, which is why I was happy to get my second qiqi on this banner. Thanks mihoyo your generosity brings me to tears
Dude ... I wanted Qiqi for both my Nilou and Nahida. The three of them is a beast together. The worst part, I got Nilou and Nahida by winning the 50/50 in my rate off pity.
@@samo2586 First off you can't have a Nilou Bloom team with Yelan as your sole hydro character because then it won't be a Nilou Bloom Team. And While you certainly can stack elemental mastery, but because its usually difficult to control who triggers bloom and the fact that Yelan is an excellent at single target damage, you are better off just stacking hp and/or crit stats for single target situations and swapping to someone like Kokomi or Barbara for Multi Target Scenarios
Got Nilou recently. She's still sitting at level 71 only and yet she slaps hard. Currently using her alongside Lumine (Dendro), Nahida and Barbara and the team kills pretty much everything. Especially the new boss Iniquitous Baptist. He can barely stand for a moment before his shield goes down. It looks like kicking the cane of an old man right as he picks it up. I honestly feel bad for him now.
My level 60 with below average artifacts nahida and barely leveled talents is still absolutely bodying enemies. Really speaks to the power level of these characters
I was shocked how good she is even on a lower level. I've her on lv. 90 now, but she doesn't have her signature weapon and her artifacts are also not perfect, but she is SO strong and also makes my bloom team even stronger!
see you're playing nilou wrong. if you want to use nilou well, you have to become nilou. which means you have to cherish your nahida like the samsara's never going to end
Really good Diluc guide, I like how you mentioned his Burgeon passive, really cool that Hoyoverse gave him a specialty change to make him the best Hydro DPS in the game
Nilou is really good for F2P players and is extremely low investment. No need to level her talents unless you want a little bit of damage as her ascension passive is her main source of damage. It's fine if you dont have a set, just slap as much HP as you can and you're good. The set will come later when you feel like farming for one.
I hate to ask this but as a f2p why would anyone like low investment? Like most fun of the game is from leveling and trying to get the perfect artifacts. What do you actually do if you can just slap EM on all of your team members? Lets say you have the map explored and of course you do the abyss.
@@tama2723 Not everyone wants to put this level of effort into their characters. Only those who actually care about the game watch guides. Between all my friends who play the game, there is only me and another who bothers to invest into their characters. There are other games that are more entertaining and enjoyable. Besides, resources take too much time for some and are precious.
@@emmasmith9785 If they don't even watch guides they are all at the same level, they wouldn't even know to just stack EM. No matter what level of investment. Not saying they have to play hours every day but at least they have something to come back to other than an update with a 10 minute completion time and a new area
@@tama2723 You seem to think that for people to enjoy a game, they must perform a certain set of tasks that fulfill them, like you do. But that's not right. Casual players will go months without the game, most dont even remember where the story stopped. Most just slap on 4* artifacts on their characters and vibe with them. The overworld is very easy and doesn't require much. The abyss is seen as too much and not exactly required. I know a friend who just pulls for pretty characters to look at them. Genshin Impact is a gacha game, people find other games that are more interesting.
I love characters like Nilou and Itto that scales with stats nobody wants and, if you put up with a couple of things and put them in the right team, THE GAME CHANGES INTO EASY MODE
Funny you mention them because my last resort teams that I use to clear abyss no matter what when nothing else works are Itto geobros team and Nilou bloom.
Got her randomly at 12 pity while trying to get one copy of Kuki (still no kuki lmao), even won the 50/50 and I realized she's really fun, easy to build and cute too
One thing that a lot of people don't talk about for Nilou - particularly for newer players / free to play players - is that Nilou basically mitigates the number of power units you need to complete abyss. Normally, you need two high-power teams using high-profile carry units. But if you have Nilou, you can throw three units you really don't care about for any other team (Barbara, Collei, Dendro Traveler, etc.)... and then save what few high-profile carry units you have as a lower paying, more recent player for the other team. This helps you clear abyss earlier in your account's life span and get more primos sooner.
From listening to other people with Nilou, I get the impression she is definitely strong but easily countered in Spiral Abyss against mobile/stall bosses and enemies with common mechanics like elemental shields
yeah as i said i believe its generally really high high really low lows -- which is why i think she gains value the more like alternatives you have? if that makes sense - i.e being able to use her in her strengths and swap her out when you need certain elements/hyperbloom/etc
I'm excited to see the synergy Baizhu could have with Nilou since he's a shielder/healer who is a catalyst user so he would be a good Dendro driver. Not only that, but his burst also launches Dendro attacks.

proud to have Nilou since her 1st release! Fell inlove with her design and char when I saw her. My friends told me she's meh turns out she isn't (for me atleast) She's really fun with her teams.
Dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen. Nilou's biggest strength is her AOE damage with bountiful cores, and her HP scalability. Easy to build, easy to play.

I’m glad you made a new video for this because I accidentally got her the other day and your older video was made before many good new characters for her came out.
It's been really fun figuring out how to build her and her teammates, rotations and figuring out who should trigger and when. Last time i had to think in this game was for the 9-cube puzzle in inazuma
Just got her and her weapon today- already had great TOM flower, plume and HP circlet for her- now I just need good HP sands and goblet from the new HP set and her build will be complete
I think my funniest experience this abyss cycle is being completely frozen solid with her team (with Barbara) on the maguuu kenki chamber yet somehow the bloom cores still trigger due to the hydro rings/dendro stuff which still defeated them while still frozen.
No one ever mentions Nilou outside of bloom. Obviously she’s not as strong, but she’s viable in all hydro archetypes. Just a solid hydro option all around.
honestly im so confused why ppl think she's a restrictive unit just bc of one passive when I'm pretty sure hoyoverse brainblasted when they designed her as universal as she is. She's a great option for any hydro reaction team. The fact that her skill was designed where she can be either an on-field driver (vape, ec) or an off-field applicator (freeze) depending on ur teams need. Ofc there are better units for those reactions but the thing is, when u dont have them and u have nilou she can replace them and it wont be any less functional. tldr: her best team is ofc bloom but stop thinking thats all she can do
@@Inzesuru Because people read that passive and get worked up, without rationally contextualizing / benchmarking vs. other characters' passives, which often have 1 that is also useless. CHN GI community also calls the description text one of the lowest EQ write up of her kit (second only to Kokomi's crit debuff). It's more about how it makes players feel rather than how objectively powerful it is.
@@Inzesuru the point is, if you're using a unit without her best team, why not just pull for a unit that suits you best, if you don't have the units for bloom, which are hella expensive, then just play anything else, a yelan has 10 times the value that nilou has, a xingqiu has more value with sac sword, a tartaglia has much better teams than nilou in terms of speedrunning and overall much more consistent than anything nilou can do outside of her best team that is bloom, and sure, nilou functions just fine, that is true, but why would you be ok with just fine, when it can be better, that's the whole point. Is not that bloom is all she can do, obviously she can work in any team, but just using her like that is a waste of potential, which is the whole issue.
Yes, she is a beast in bloom but can work in other roles, obviously she'll lose to dedicated dps and burst dps, she still had her unique aoe hydro application that walks with you as well, useful for some teams
The crazy thing that people don't really think about is that she is one of the only characters that is already insane but is also guaranteed to get a buff at some point - when they release an inevitable HP% 4 Star Sword.
@@sergiovergaramontemiranda2116 Yep but the difference is there's at least a 3 star HP spear, so the jump for Zhongli won't be crazy. Nilou will be going from 0 hp stat on the weapon to having one.
Nilou is an absolute beast of a character. Thanks to her bloom teams focusing on EM absolutely obliterate hardest content in the game. She synergizes with Nahida insanely well, since the latter boosts EM. Her BiS weapon does too. Not to mention, just seeing the green hued napalm everywhere is a sight to behold. Just don't forget to bring a good healer... Yao Yao is a good option, however Barbara can struggle to keep up. Make sure to boost her ER.
Nilou is fantastic! I got her at her first release and and I am very happy with her. She finally enabled my second team to be strong enough to 36 star Abyss. This time I got Nahida's C2 and that turned Nilou in the absolute monster. And this is with me never having any luck with artifacts and getting very average stats despite grinding. I use Nilou, Nahida, Yao Yao and Yelan, even single bosses are no big deal for them.
The moment HYV adds a hydro grouper, shes gonna go from good to broken. Something like a whirlpool would make sense. Because grouping is one of her few weaknesses but that would solve that issue
groupers are basically tied with anemo and will never be a thing for other elements imo. Anemo and Geo are supportive elements and to make up for it the devs gave them special properties to distinguish them from the other elements i.e. grouping for anemo and constructs for geo
3:37 There is Kuki (and Dori if you get really unlucky) on the current Nilou banner, so in a way you get key unit for both of those teams if you wish for her rn. I feel like it would be important to mention
Honestly outside of the heavy restrictions of her kit to keep her niche. Nilou bloom is pretty f2p friendly so long as you have HP and em. But she’s a character that definitely needs Nahida to shine.
@@BluecoreG Mine has 56k hp without her weapon, so having her weapon or not it's not exactly that much of an issue. However, actually accesible weapons with a main hp% stat is definitely needed already, layla could get some good value out of that too, and a decent polearm instead of nothing but the dang black tassel
Here’s the thing, the restrictions are merely not to make her a broken unit. Think about it, if you could bring a grouper. And her bloom damage is still good against single target, my blooms hit for 30k. Also she doesn’t need nahida to shine, she merely needs hp, em, a good dendro applier and hydro. Nahida merely makes that easier
@@JAOINFINITY agree, with anemo this will be way beyond broken grouping+ swirling+res shred+ the fact that most anemo gives em and elemental dmg bonus
One of my favorite things about Nilou, before discovering her Bloom powers, was that when mining less strong ores, after making one charged attack, I just need to attack one more time to break it. With most other characters, I have to attack two more times after a charged attack. Nilou makes sword mining so much quicker. (And apparently Layla too.)
Nilou also becomes a more flexible unit if you have her BIS on her. With Key, she can provide around 146 (more or less) at around 70k hp to all party members. This doesnt have any ceiling so the more hp you put on her, the better the em sharing the key can provide. It’s 2nd to Elegy of the end for raising the overall dmg you provide to your party and has more em sharing rhan elegy which provides 100 em at r1
I’ve loved using Nilou since her first banner, so much so that I got her C1 and Key on that banner. She is so fun to use and is incredibly powerful in AOE. In the first chamber of this Abyss, if I set up her team rotation everything just disappears immediately. If I leveled my Kokomi, it would be even crazier. To solve single-target issues, I use a 3 Hydro 1 Dendro team with Nilou, Yelan, Kokomi, Alhaitham; it works so well that I can brute-force both bosses on first half of this Abyss. Nilou’s one of my favorite characters, and the only thing that can stop her in Abyss is Cryo shields in my experience. Hoping people who pull for her get her!
Thank you zy0x not only are your videos done in a calm composed, elegant, and soothing way; But your content saved my pulls, my builds, my life, my marriage, my job, and the economy
Regarding spread-out enemies, I like Yelan's E for extra movement speed to reach spread-out enemies; I know floor 9 doesn't mean jack, but those stupid fungi are always so spread out, but with Nilou E into Nilou E into Yelan E, you run around mowing the enemies down. Kokomi might help kope with the lack of grouping, since her hydro normal attacks give you some reach.
One thing I did not realize until getting her is that though she is niche with the elements she needs she is very open with rotation to where almost all characters that are dendro or hydro work well with her. I imagine she might get even better when we get the hydro archon
I even used Vape Nilou and Hyperbloom Nilou. Is it amazing? No. But it does clear the abyss 36* just because she’s Hydro and has access to broken reactions that means in terms of playstyle and fun options she isn’t as restricted as to what many would think. Overall amazing, pretty, and fun unit to play with respectable strength outside of her niche.
I got her this banner after skipping her first one because I gradually fell in love with her playstyle while using her during events with character trials. I’ve heard people saying how good Nilou is with the right teams, but experiencing first hand how strong she is with proper build (trial characters builds are dubious at best) was just glorious! I also can’t stop using her because her animation is really beautiful and the cores are fun, and I’ve even adjusted my exploration team to include her.
@@_daki Nilou, Nahida, Yaoyao, Tighnari. Not the most efficient team in terms of combat, but it does the job well enough. Also Nahida can read minds for quests and Tighnari for his bow and the ability to see specialities.
I got her in her first banner. She is so easy to use that I forgot how to even play other teams haha. I've been always a freeze comp guy and after a month playing Nilou, I came back to play ayaka and it was like, what is this???? Why is not everything dying instantly? Why I don't know how to play anymore?? She's cool and gorgeous, if you can pull for her, do it.
literally just pulled nilou and then loaded up your page to be pleasantly surprised by this video posted only half an hour ago, safe to say she'll fit in very well with my yelan nahida kokomi team
9:45 This is my biggest issue(* not really an issue) with Nilou is that when you use her in the Abyss, she ends up leaving so many other great characters for your other team, it's almost too many options. I always get my superbloom team punched in, and then that second team is like... unlimited-option-paralysis.
Always knew she was good. I remember following her leaks in July/August and getting her C1R1 the second she came. I love characters with pretty designs and skills
I’ve been consistently clearing abyss with ease ever since her release, for both aoe and even single target enemies. She destroyed the triple magyuu kenki characters, and even against wenut. My Nilotic team is Nilou, Nahida/Yelan, alhaitham, and kokomi. She just ‘splodes everything.
i'm on my way pulling for Nilou, skipped her before because i prioritize the guaranteed on Nahida. but i liked her design and art a lot though. too bad now i'm on 50/50, wish me luck~
I got Nilou and Nahida this patch. My current team is: Nahida, Xingqiu, Yao Yao & Nilou. It’s quickly become my favorite team. So easy to use. And major perk is Nahida’s skill to grab items is great for exploration.
@@joaolana3425 I lost my 50/50 on this last Yelan banner. And I held on to my wishes waiting for a guaranteed 5 star I knew I wanted. Got her at soft pity. Then I pulled for Nilou. Lost an early 50/50 and then got Nilou at soft pity. I’m just happy I was able to get both.
Pulled for her with the expectation of more hydro characters from Fontaine soon. Surprisingly satisfying to see all those explosions lol. Would be nice if we have more 4 stars healers. Right now only Barbara and YaoYao the only 4 star healer for the Nilou bloom team.
I pulled for her and I'm so happy I got her, because I love her even more than I anticipated. I liked playing Alhaitham even without Nilou, but now with her in the team (and Xingqiu + Yaoyao as a healer) every enemy just falls over! She is so much fun (and incredibly gorgeous, but that's beside the point). Now I just NEED better artifacts for her!
I pulled her and her weapon on impulse last week (not pulling for 3 whole versions and having only two of sumeru 5* can drive a person crazy) and I absolutely love her. Got her to lvl90, slapped hp artifacts on her while ignoring all her talents and threw into team with nahida, yao yao and kokomi (with only EM time piece) and I see blooms for 30k without any real additional investment. She's great. She's amazing. She made oceanid my favourite boss. I killed abyss wenut on this team with 36*. I love her. No regrets.
I pulled her in my alt account and instantly loved her! So I pulled her on my main account and is crazy good with Nahida and Kokomi doing 28K Bloom damage and is my fastest clear by any team ever. She is so underrated! Can’t wait to pair her with Kaveh 💚
Thanks for the awesome content as always! Would love if you could also do a video to share insights on Artifact sets that work well in a team setting. Like what Artifact sets would nilou’s team makes like Kokomi and Yao Yao work best to proc the Bountiful Blooms.
I forsee a 4 star dendro/hydro shielder whose shields can strengthen or last longer whenever a dendro core explodes next to us. It'd make sense for something like this tbh
When I coop with my bf where he plays alhaitham and myself on nilou, it's actually so funny just how MUCH outgoing damage there is. It's just constant blooms going boom boom boom boom boom! It's so much fun.
I have and I use her with Nahida in a bloom team and she’s extremely op. The downside is that it’s really easy to die. I assume Baizhu or Kirara might be a good option for their shields.
very small and nitpicky correction for 9:17; yaoyao applies more dendro in aoe compared to st not because of the aoe of the radishes as you said, but mostly because Yuegei will circumvent the ICD of its dendro app by hitting different enemies randomly.
shoutout to someone in my family for using nilou since their first banner without having a nahida nor a functioning bloom team 😅 they level her skill and ult to be a sub dps like nilou passive who lol ❤ at least they have a nahida now
I was struggling to get passed 32* and then I finally leveled nilou and partially her weapon and with no retries I got 36*, I knew she was crazy good but didn’t expect THAT much
I finally got nilou! Didn’t have enough primos on her first banner but got lucky this time! I’m so thankful. She’s so much fun! she doesn’t do as much dmg as i expected but for an extremely f2p friendly character she’s a monster.
This is my experience and it may not apply to everyone: My Nilou bloom team consists of Nilou, Nahida and Baizhu. Baizhu is kinda a staple too since he provides really good healing, protection from self-destruction and a significant buff to dendro-related reaction. However, this means the dendro application can be limited if Nahida is constantly off-field (Baizhu provides less dendro aura than almost any other option). I can pull Nahida up to be the main driver and core proctor, but since she runs a deepwood 4-set and maximum EM, and also my Nilou has her sig weapon (which means even more EM for the whole team), Nahida's own core damage can reach diminishing returns with too high EM. So, all of these means I'm having moderate to high dendro application, currently close ranged hydro application and a need to have a driver wielding lost paradise 4-set for maximum core damage. Therefore, I would need a hydro applicator that can apply aura in far range, can apply hydro consistently but not abundantly (so that the dendro aura won't be depleted too quickly) These factors led me to the use of Barbara instead of Kokomi. Kokomi's jellyfish has an AoE application, meaning it can cleanse all of Nahida's dendro aura at the same time, producing too much cores at the same time and thus wasting a lot of damage (since each target can only receive damage from up to 2 cores every interval of time, I think it's 0.5 sec) Barbara instead relies mostly on NA to apply hydro, which is single-targeted, so she won't run out dendro aura. Her high attack speed can make up for the amount of hydro aura, so the total amount of core produced won't be reduced much, and in return those cores would be produced at a more consistent rate and can deal solid damage over a longer time period. Another factor is that Kokomi can provide some healing (despite having a full EM build), but since her jellyfish is stationed on the field, movement can become restricted for effective healing. Meanwhile, Barbara can provide healing in both ways: over time and one time. The healing is not placement-dependant, so it can be much easier to run around, since movement is crucial in a team that has no grouping or crowd control capability. Barbara's self-application can troublesome when facing a potential freeze or vaporize situation, but one avoid that by using her burst only. One side factor is that due to using Barbara, Kokomi won't be bound to the team, and thus she can go back to her usual tenacity + TTDS build for other teams (Ayaka's freeze team for example) Both hydro catalyst users can now be utilized. In conclusion, I would recommend using Barbara over Kokomi in Nilou bloom team.
I can't wait for Baizu as Dendro shield who specifically resists Dendro dmg quote well, it will be an amazing supportive character with Nilou and Nahida
*Instructor set* works very well on Yaoyao and makes building a Nilou team even easier. 120EM for the whole team is very good and her burst is so good it will still do the job even with 4* artifacts. Nahida also gives 250EM, Nilou 100EM and Dendro resonance 50/100EM => *520EM for the whole team.* (Nahida and Nilou signature can boost EM even more). Give Yaoyao Dragon's Bane and she already has *~750EM without any artifact.* Same for Kokomi with Sac Frag.
I’ve 36 starred with a lot of characters over time and I found Nilou to be one of the easier characters to do it with. Love her unique playstyle and easy artifacts to farm + you don’t need to level up her talents.
I use Nilou in a way, that everyone in my team has around 300-500 EM, this way the damage stays very consistant, while I don't sacrafice any survivability, since my Yao Yao still has a lot of hp, so she heals a lot, and the bloom damage will also hurt my own team much less.
Recently got nilou, even tho shes so niche, it doesnt entirely mean shes bad, Shes stupidly strong, shes sitting at level 90 and WIP artifs, and she slaps so hard, 20-30k blooms with 1k em kokomi, i dont regret anything
Nilou did not leave one side of my abyss runs ever since her first release. her best investment upgrade is Nahida C2. My damn blooms now hit 60-70k with crits now. My best team on her rn is with Nahida/xq/yaoyao.
been running a nilou bloom team on my account and have been having a blast - even with the dendro res croc in the abyss she works super well! the one part i havent figured out is how to designate who procs blooms/how to even have a rotation in the first place. i have no candace so i run nahida/nilou/yelan/yaoyao with yaoyao in theory as the onfield driver
For me Nilou became really powerful after I got Nahida, and I am not even using full Hydro / Dendro team. I am using Nahida, Xingqiu, Nilou and Kuki Shinobu and they slaughter everything I have gone up against. I'm going to try a full Hydro / Dendro team to see what all the hype is about. Just need a 4th character that is either Hydro or Dendro to replace my Kuki Shinobu who I like for healing, so leaning towards trying Yaoyao or Barbara.
Thank you for this video! Alot of people are aware of her strength but focus on the weakness and restrictions and yes it is more restrictive than your usual comp but there are hypercarries and other teams that have pretty strict comps and like you said you can throw in a yelan or Xinqui for single target. Plus i feel like most people who would want Nilou already have her teammates because they like dendro teams. Got Nilou last week and my current Nilou variations are: Nahida, Yelan and Kokomi (I still want Yelan in every team 😂) I also swap Yelan for Alhaitham or DMC in abyss and have the other 2 on another team. I do have yao yao built and have used her but i just prefer koko and i would rather use my other spot for one of the previous ppl mentioned!
Watching this again coz I'm pretty sure Nilou will have a rerun this upcoming 4.8 patch and I'm getting her for sure this time with my guarantee, no more skipping.
Finally got my Nahida a few days ago, wishing for Nilou now until the end of the banners. Bloom really do go brr, I don’t even have a DPS on my team they’re all supports 😂
She got stronger simply because there are more Dendro units in the game. Back when she was released, there are only 3 Dendro characters: Tighnari, Collei, and DMC. Of the 3, Tighnari is mostly used in Quicken teams, Collei's Dendro application is mid, and so only DMC is even remotely useful. Now though, Nahida and Yaoyao were released, which fixed nearly all of Nilou's problem.
I believe Baizhu will make Nilou perfect as it will make her the driver like she is supposed to be so your glass cannons dont get pulverized by the superblooms and staggers.
bloom go brrr haha lol
also regarding constellations: not needed but C2 gives nice RES shred + C1 a bit more hydro app. others help mainly for on field.
Beware of certain elemental enemies/shields though as nilou teams need only dendro/hydro units (which is where the swapping teams part comes in very clutch, if possible, as I mentioned). nilou very cool 👍
& excuse the delay on this video i had to go pickup my new passport because i lost my old one somehow LMAO

If I have Yelan as my sole hydro character on a Nilou bloom team, should I stack EM on her build instead of HP?
Aiming for level 90 is advised if you want more bloom damage from Nilou
@@HearMeLearnseriously like I have nahida at level 50 and she was destroying in abyss she didn’t even have a full artifact set
Exact same team i use for her. Nilous blooms are great
Nilou's character: Calm, cute, shy, like and worship Nahida
Nilou's gameplay: Sadist Machosist, Arsonist, and killing Nahida
see you're playing nilou wrong. if you want to use nilou well, you have to become nilou. which means you have to cherish your nahida like the samsara's never going to end
How does she arsonist? She doesn't even do burn damage lol
her bloom core thing does damage to allies

Really good Diluc guide, I like how you mentioned his Burgeon passive, really cool that Hoyoverse gave him a specialty change to make him the best Hydro DPS in the game
🤨

Just against bosses she has some difficulty, and against cryo shields
that is true sometimes, but honestly the satisfaction of blooms exploding all over the place and having bunch of numbers, is worth it!
tbf the only shields that counter her are cryo, and even then she can bruteforce them at good investment
yeah as i said i believe its generally really high high really low lows -- which is why i think she gains value the more like alternatives you have? if that makes sense - i.e being able to use her in her strengths and swap her out when you need certain elements/hyperbloom/etc
I defeated the wenut using nilou-kokomi-nahida-collei and 36 stars the abyss.
I'm excited to see the synergy Baizhu could have with Nilou since he's a shielder/healer who is a catalyst user so he would be a good Dendro driver. Not only that, but his burst also launches Dendro attacks.
Zyox your videos are so calm and composed! I cant wait to tune into your twitch streams in the future so I can have some live calm and composed content to enjoy while I do my work! Looking forward to it.

I’m glad you made a new video for this because I accidentally got her the other day and your older video was made before many good new characters for her came out.
🌸😹It could be uttered that she was but a titan of prowess that far greater than the tongues of slander and doubt that plague her character.😹🌸
It's been really fun figuring out how to build her and her teammates, rotations and figuring out who should trigger and when.
Last time i had to think in this game was for the 9-cube puzzle in inazuma
I was checking your channel daily for the last few days for an updated Nilou guide, finally here it is!
Just got her and her weapon today- already had great TOM flower, plume and HP circlet for her- now I just need good HP sands and goblet from the new HP set and her build will be complete
FINALLY!! I've waiting for your Nilou's updated guide!
Just a solid hydro option all around.
her vape team is also pretty disgusting for whale accounts / speedrunners. nilou yelan kaz XL
honestly im so confused why ppl think she's a restrictive unit just bc of one passive when I'm pretty sure hoyoverse brainblasted when they designed her as universal as she is.
Or Zhongli with the 4 star Hp spear. I expect that on Fountain

12:59 Zyox: "You should do E then 2 normal attacks then E again"

3:37 There is Kuki (and Dori if you get really unlucky) on the current Nilou banner, so in a way you get key unit for both of those teams if you wish for her rn. I feel like it would be important to mention
Honestly outside of the heavy restrictions of her kit to keep her niche. Nilou bloom is pretty f2p friendly so long as you have HP and em. But she’s a character that definitely needs Nahida to shine.
nah mihoyo are clowns for not offering a 4 star or 3 star hp% sword option. I refuse to pull for Nilou until they do that.
@@JAOINFINITY agree, with anemo this will be way beyond broken
grouping+ swirling+res shred+ the fact that most anemo gives em and elemental dmg bonus
@@annierminxOnly 56k? That's low asf
I liked how you smoothly slided the fact that if you’re struggling with blooms, just go hyperblooms.
Thank you zy0x not only are your videos done in a calm composed, elegant, and soothing way; But your content saved my pulls, my builds, my life, my marriage, my job, and the economy

just got her last night and i literally looked up your channel for updated reviews and guide for her, now i got it! thank you so much!

9:45 This is my biggest issue(* not really an issue) with Nilou is that when you use her in the Abyss, she ends up leaving so many other great characters for your other team, it's almost too many options. I always get my superbloom team punched in, and then that second team is like... unlimited-option-paralysis.

very small and nitpicky correction for 9:17; yaoyao applies more dendro in aoe compared to st not because of the aoe of the radishes as you said, but mostly because Yuegei will circumvent the ICD of its dendro app by hitting different enemies randomly.

I finally got nilou! Didn’t have enough primos on her first banner but got lucky this time! I’m so thankful. She’s so much fun! she doesn’t do as much dmg as i expected but for an extremely f2p friendly character she’s a monster.
This is my experience and it may not apply to everyone:
My Nilou bloom team consists of Nilou, Nahida and Baizhu.
Baizhu will be kinda broken for Nilou teams, 2nd passive gives 100% bloom damage at max stacks, insane
@@Zarjinn Nilou's A4 passive gives so much DMG bonus on blooms already so it wouldn't be as impactful due to diminishing returns.
@@lewsee5562 Oh I see, thanks for the info. Might be still very good , it's like 11k more hp on Nilou worth of DMG
Give Yaoyao Dragon's Bane and she already has *~750EM without any artifact.* Same for Kokomi with Sac Frag.

like and share if you hate socks and think dumb people are short
real
If you play her correctly and have a good investment you can do also boss chamber
I got her in her first banner without any expectations but she's one of my strongest units now; not to mention how fun she is to play.
This is really informative. Great video as always. ♥️
New guide always helping
Got Nilou last week and my current Nilou variations are:
Nahida, Yelan and Kokomi (I still want Yelan in every team 😂)
I also swap Yelan for Alhaitham or DMC in abyss and have the other 2 on another team.
Bloom really do go brr, I don’t even have a DPS on my team they’re all supports 😂
as a genshin player, i love nahida and nilou and how meta they are. as a cs major, im contemplating the time taken to code all those numbers
I’d like to add that now that baizhu is out, he’s basically a better Yao Yao in terms of healing and he’s a much much better dendro applier.
I believe Baizhu will make Nilou perfect as it will make her the driver like she is supposed to be so your glass cannons dont get pulverized by the superblooms and staggers.
Thanks for the update Nilou argument is almost same as Shenhe which is why I got her on first banner and now will try pulling for C2.
