Hi loves! Here are some Bali finds! ✨ Please take note that most of the prices, I haven’t bargained yet ‘cos once you start bargaining they really push you to buy. Though I heard it’s cheaper to shop in UBUD! 😊 Nonetheless, I hope you got some ideas from this video. Thanks for watching!

Also keep in mind, most wood, and any animal products will cost you to be treated when you come through customs in western countries and that can become extremely expensive so keep that in mind. If they are lacquered or painted they are usually fine, but any raw wood can carry some nasty bugs which I found out the hard way when I bought back umbrellas and opened them a week after coming home, they had been completely eaten!

I live 3 months in Bali and 3 months in Aus working as vet nurse. I can tell you, she is suggesting you pay WAAAAAY too much for most of these things. Most are only work a fraction of the price she is paying 🤦🏼‍♀️🙄

Paying 400k or $40aud for sandals in a market is absolutely ludicrous, you should not be paying ANYMORE that maybe 50k or $5 aud- 100k or $10 but you can get them as low as 20k or $2 if you are willing to bater.

Yep i was shocked coming to bali when everyone said things will be so cheap. The stores try and charge ridiculous prices. They charge more for some fake brand items than the actual brand at home lol I can't believe it and they act so rude like as if you are ripping them off for not being willing to pay that price. Had some start at reasonable prices and lowered to something fair whereas some were rude as hell and not willing to budge which is fine because i will just get it back at home and not pay for extra luggage lol I have happily bought from the nice ones trying to make a honest living but the scammers need to understand, we don't roll in money in western countries and we have cheap items there too. Not everyone is wanting cheap junk with a designer label glued on it. I've gotten myself some wooden cutlery and quite a bit of macrame. Also went to a proper store and paid bit more for quality jewellery which i could also get at home for similar prices. Honestly thought i would find more but everything seems like dollar store stuff.

they scammed you, you payed wayyyyy too much. the vendors normally start the bargaining at around 70% more than the actual price, incase the buyer bargains, if you dont barain they will jst rip you off
