The 97 call was absolutely incredible. I know you’re not always good there, but your ability to stay clear headed and problem solve on the river is really amazing.
My exact thoughts. Not until I started playing live poker did I realize how much harder it is to think clearly and stick to everything you’ve learnt in the moment it matters most.
His thought process in that situation shows exactly why he deserves the success he’s had!!

Honestly I would have probably made the same exact call the hand made no sense the way that guy was playing it and curiousity would have got the best of me also the pot was 40k and he went all in for 18k so it’s good odds don’t need to be right all the time. Great call Mariano

As someone whose been playing for 15 years and played for a living for a few of those (back when it was way easier 2010-2012) I 100% concur with this assessment. For playing 3 years the kid is just unbelievable.
The greatest thing about watching your videos, is your logic makes sense, for any stakes. Just different amounts of winnings or losing. Your such an inspiration to the "little guy". Thanks for your videos.

Best moment: 24:00 exhausted Mariano, collapsed on the table, waxing philosophical about the hands and sessions. Too tired to be funny or irreverent - just "Wow, that was some serious poker with some weird hands."
And importantly, Mariano, you get that the excitement in poker is not cards on their backs, flipping for $500k. It's when you're trying to figure out if you're good 25% of the time when mere mortals would have folded long ago. That's what makes your sessions and vlogs so good.

One small recommendation by boy, the commentary of how the hand ends up playing out, if it can come either at the same time or a second after we see the cards would be better, when you tell us before we see it kind of kills the thrill(for me at least) anywho keep it up!!
