SPECIALITIES of the Route:
• New Route to GUWAHATI.
• Religious Place: MAA MAHAMAYA TEMPLE near BAGRIBARI.
• Unelectrifed (Electrification Work has been started).
• 3 Tunnels & Several Mountains enroute.
• Brahmaputra River is not too far from the Railway Track, runs almost parallel to it.
• Bypassing NEW ALIPURDUAR - KOKRAJHAR - NEW BONGAIGAON Section.
• Route MPS: 90 Kmph.
