I think this event was super long, with a top 32 I think? That’s a ton of rounds the competitors have to prepare, and a long time competing, stress, nerves, etc. The fact that we still got such strong rounds in the finale is incredible. It feels like somehow despite all that footbox withheld his bangers to the final whereas pacmax couldn’t retain as strong material. He had to go all out to beat river after all.
FootboxG's second round made me get up from my couch when I first watched it I really, really like PacMax style but even for me as an amateur it was so clear that FootboxG deserves the title of World Champ 🏆
