This is someone who can fix the thing AND play the thing???
OK I'm impressed - Hi George!
I'm an electronics tech, who refurbed an A-100 once - lovely thing - sadly the guy became a dodgy Politician, done me for a grand, and 'lost' the Hammond (it fell down some stairs - and he didnt call me) - :( .. But THIS sure makes me happy
Though I Love the sound I'm not a hot keyboard player - maybe if I had one in the house I might get some skills - sadly I LOST my home in a pretty vicious eviction - currently building a mini boxroom studio on Islington-Dalson border - its been an interesting time
Yes he had a Leslie too - a kind of after-market imitation Leslie, that really wasnt bad - (the name escapes me now) - I've gotta admit I'd never have thought of making a DIY compression horn like that - looks like real nice work there - lets wnatch some more..

You should try taking the other speakers out and fit a little shelve and put a proper leslie horn in there.

Yes- that would be better! I've actually given this Hammond to another enthusiast and now have a different T400 (I think) with a proper external Leslie. The combination of a rotating bass baffle and rotating horns that speed up and slow down differently is terrific!
