Darren is from Canada and joined the voice kids in the Philippines seversl years back. His semifinal performance whitney houstons 'one moment in time was outstanding and his final performance ( he was a finalist) which was in tagalog was also phenomenal. . In most peoples opinion ncluding the judges he should have won. But it was based on public voting. Part of the reason he chose tagalog for the finals was because he was competing with a local performer lyca whos public favorite because of her background. Shes also talented but darrens vocals was far superior. Like the TNT BOYS. He became well known in the country despite of not winning the competition.
