Great idea! Running the cable lead through the wrap is also great idea. The lowest quality fiber-optic cable will give you the most dispersion which is what you want for the glow. Definitely find the cheapest stuff
@@JoeOvercoat hiding the power supply would also be an issue in a Hot wheels car unless you removed the interior and blacked out the windows. then its just a matter of putting it all together. I think it was matchbox did some cars with lights and sounds 15+ years ago, that didnt last long because you couldnt change out the battery.

Finding the tiny LED would be the hard part. You can definitely find fiber-optic cable as thin as you want, right down to the size of a human hair.
