Pretty good description. As a Capricorn with Venus in Aquarius I get what you are saying. I have a short attention span, never falling head over heals unless the person is unobtainable, then is it more like an obsession. I did love the rebel boys in the past

I think it depends on your sign placement in planets in the whole chart. As a Venus in Aquarius, I have been married for 25 years. I am committed but maybe that is because I am also a Pisces Sun / Cancer ASC (strong emotional attachment). I don't think I am "cold" because I have my moon in fiery SAG and mars in ARIES.
As a Venus in Aquarius. I do NEED my personal freedom and space to move around and to interact with my friends and have my individual interests. I don't think anyone should "give up" their long time friends or interests if they decide to be in a committed romantic relationship.
I want to build a strong foundation on a trusted friendship FIRST. What is wrong with that? Too many people want to jump in bed first before they really know someone. True, I don't want to be "pinned down" or "engulfed" or feel forced to merge or be "one" with someone else to "prove" my commitment. To me this "feels" like someone wants to eat me alive and "trap" me within them. Doesn't that sound scary?
I think the best personal relationships are friendships. A friendship is someone you enjoy and have fun with but someone you can count on too.

Maybe my placements make it different with the placement I have with Venus in Aquarius but I do enjoy the soul binding actually so you're off about that.. i choose a spiritual and intellectual relation over intimacy and physical one but that is just my opinion, of course.
Just to let you know that the only time I'm aloof is when I don't like someone. And there are not many pple, I don't like. As for having feelings, I have very deep emotional feelings and only show them when I really trust someone....!😊
I think this was very broad but I’m a Venus in Aquarius and crave deep deep love and affection. I guess my moon in Scorpio and sun in Capricorn has a lot to do with my deeper feelings :)

yup but im also independent and like being single.. have rest of my life to settle down. im in my 20s had a few small relationships but havnt had long term one yet havnt met right guy and had my fair share of family problems (leo asc) ha but i do want one now though im open to it.. love friendships :))

This is do weird my ex who I broke up with Is a pisces with moon in scorpio moon Venus in Aquarius, I'm moon in Aquarius, Venus in cancer but he is way too clinging for me. way too sticky and absolutely romantic. when I was very loving he gets cold and when I didn't want him around he was way too emotional and just on my face. I started out as friends with guys that have venus in Aquarius . my moon is in virgo and my leo rising can handle it.
I have strong Cap and Scorpio but I do have Venus Aquarius. Friendships are definitely where it's at. I do feel like now tho that everything is sooo unconventional and Aquarians do thrive in this day and age. I've notice I lean more towards the conventional because it is now what is odd. 🤔 probably my CapMercury talking.

Scorpio rising, Pisces sun in the Fourth House, Mercury in Aquarius & Venus in Aquarius in the Fourth House. This is not true at all when it comes to the romantic part. I am completely, utterly, hopelessly romantic and am very good at expressing verbal and physical affection.

Omg...25 fricken years..I get it..I finally get it..friend zone! Haha yea.. i had 1 for 6 month and 1 for 2 years, i think i could have kept going, but i want more passion! Venus in Aquaries in my opinion is the best for open relationship, i cant see and other way for them. They even put old pictures with ex's and family, because it reminds them of that good momment with family LOL!!! Its really crazy if you let them be how they wish, and after they feel alot of shame :( No bond at all here.

from my experience, in relationships they are very shallow & don't understand intimacy at all. they might make a nice friend but not a nice partner, unless with another venus in aquarius or you don't want any kind of connection aside from a sexual one. very hurtful to try be in relationship with otherwise
