this exactly is what i learned from failure after failure when using 24 fps. luckily i mostly taught myself how to animate walk cycles and punches by just looking at how other people animate and the how to animate stick figures by alan becker which i highly suggest you to watch. but overall this should get more attention for people having issues with fight scenes so thats a like for you.
