Bradley’s comment was on point. All you’re going to do with that form is overload your joints, create muscle imbalances, and/or get injured. There’s no reason to ego lift with heavy compound lifts especially when you’re a boxer
His ego wouldn’t allow him to do lower weight.😂
And on top of that building the strength by going all the way down only adds to explosiveness. You’d be able to duck lower to avoid punches and spring back up even faster. Ya need power from all ranges of motion because you never know how far you might need to duck down. Mike Tyson did full range squats to build his legs. And he was able to go insanely low and still spring right back up with power.

Honestly proper form is stressed even more in the world of powerlifting. No real powerlifting coach would ever let him touch heavy weights until his form was spot on. As it should be.
His coaches just be the kings of waffle. Just telling him a load of bullshit to allow improper form. His knees buckled, the coached held the weights most of the way up and he was completely off balance. It's a really bad example to set. If this was "just for boxing" why is he maxing out anyway. It would be more logical to do explosive movements under a lighter weight or do plyometric movements rather than bad form bench and squat

With the front squat its true that quarter squats are good for explosiveness like the reddit said, but form was still lacking and balance/stability were off. Honestly you would be better doing work with medballs than using a barbell at this stage.

doesn't matter what the weight training is for body building, physique or boxing form is the most vital important thing the better the form the better the impact on your muscles the more output your muscles can do when they're being used, pay for leon wills to be in your camp leon is worth the mney you know this, form is key, form is everything, if you cant do what you done with proper form then you cant do it at all that wasnt weight training that was ego lifting

Death grip on the bench, bouncing the weight off the tube instead of controlling it while being assisted, spine curve on the rows (also not controlling the weight), knee buckling on the squats. Just because it’s not a hypertrophy workout, doesn’t mean you need to compromise form for explosiveness. Don't get me wrong, I can't lift this much yet, but we just want you to be safe dude I'm not trying to hate
you don’t need to excuse the bad form bro just fix it. no matter what sport, proper lift form and technique is essential to success and injury prevention. i have a EXSS degree so i do understand that some exercises are meant to not achieve full depth but if that was what you were doing it wasn’t controlled. this being said i do understand the certain factors that may limit someone’s ability to perform weight routines with proper technique. you could lack the flexibility (ankles & hips), you could have a genetic issue that prevents you from achieving proper form (deep hip sockets for example). you need to shoot your hips back (similar to RDL) in order to properly squat. you need a better grip on the bar so that it doesn’t sag off your chest. you got lightheaded cuz you didn’t breath. honestly everything wade said in his breakdown was spot on. no hate but it’s with your best interest in mind. no one is really trying to take a shot at your ego.

Interesting points, half squats and quarter squats for explosiveness don't require full depth but you already covered that. However the fact he was performing a front squat wouldn't that mean his body is fine being slightly more upright even though I feel his hips were far enough back especially during a quarter squat, though I feel he definitely could've controlled the weight better and not risen up as much from his heels whilst lifting the weight up during his squat.
