@@ankurpaul1 You nailed it. Excellent quality vinyls were pressed in India back then. I have Pink Floyd/Deep Purple/Iron Maiden/Beatles, all pressed in HMV Dum Dum factory. When they closed down production, I was lucky to buy many from their factory stock clearence. Now things have changed. I saw your other videos. Keep up your passion with restoration..
Can you please mention any person/ place that repairs this record player, I have a 633 which is not switching on..last time used 20 years ago and it was working then, kept very safely hence not much problem expected

Hi Ankur. Can we get the metal thingy attached on the spindle of the motor which contains the three different speeds? I have 533 which is exactly identical to this player except for the fact, it's in Mono.
In this case the headshell was already damaged when I got it. The headshells are not available at stores. Only available on ebay. That too very expensive. The fidelity of the Chinese cartridges are lower that the original Phillips.

You won't get an original speaker at any shop for purchase. You can get one from a trashed equipment with same speakers. Or you could get one original Philips from eBay.com

Lovely i have a mono version from 1962-1964 and the needles are indeed very hard 2 purchase but at last ive got mine playing as well

You wont get it in any shop. Get another 533 and salvage parts. Try flea market

Check the power transformer. You must have basic knowledge of electricity. Shock hazard involved. Please take precaution.
