Thank you Torun! :) Although I have no idea how did you find the video - it still has a private status, because I have not finished all the publication details yet 🙈😀
This brings back so many memories to my interpreting course when we used this technique to learn to interpret simultaneously :-) And now it turns out to be a great exercise to practice the exact details of pronunciation :-) Thank you so much!
Good practice for sure, but especially with the sentences toward the end I got lost in the pronunciation of the long words. I will try to pronounce them syllable by syllable. Maybe I will get it then:-) good format Nika, I would like to see more videos like this.
Thanks Jeroen! Yes, if some words are too hard, you can practice them separately, by syllables and then include them in shadowing technics👍 I on purpose didn’t slow down on them because in this task we need to try to shadow the natural speech pace ❤️
I got a little tongue tied with a few of those words in the last few sentences too. I'm a slower speaker, which made it difficult but it's a great practice! Maybe try it on a little bit of a slower playback speed, like x 0.75.
I can’t wait to revisit this when I work my way up to intermediate level. I see what you are doing and it will be helpful!! I love how you speak slowly and articulate with your pronunciation
Like #207, Hi Nika 💐 I learned some words, very good and excellent video. I will continue listening🎧to your videos while I work 👨🏻💻 You are a great teacher. Congratulations 👍🏻 Regards from Panama 🇵🇦 🤝 🇺🇦
I have been doing a version of this technique. For instance on your video explaining what's on your desk. I will listen and then repeat what you said. I even act out the action as if I was the one saying it and pretend like I am talking it to someone else. Not just telling the person that this is my mug or computer or notebook but showing them to. It helps me learn not just the words but also how to use the language as a form of communication. I know its weird but its pretty helpful.
Incrediable! You include mechanical memory inthis moment and it helps to memorize phrases better and feel more comfortable using it ina real conversation 👏❤️
It will be a bit difficult for me as a almost absolute beginner if there is no English subtitle. Probably the only Ukrainian vocab I can remember is так😢
Hi Howard, I could add them, but probably it means this video is a bit early for you, it is more for the students at the middle of A1 level or at the full A1. You need something A0 so far. You can start with my playlist "Ukrainian for beginners", thefe are explosions in English 😊
Great way to practice pronunciation and intonation! Thank you!

Дякую, Скотте! Так, вам можна брати складніші відео для shadowing 😉👍

Very useful video!
Дуже дякую!
That is good, because it means that you found the level at which you have room to improve. And if you practice at that level, you WILL improve!

❤️🙏
Very useful lesson. Thank you so much!
🥰
😊🌺🌹🌺
Couple of really hard words to pronounce in here, so I slowed the pace to seventy five percent and just kept repeating.
The path to success!
I love your content and presentation, but I'm listening on my phone and I've got the volume all the way up, but the audio on this video is very quiet.
😟 Sorry about the inconvenience, on my devise it seems ok, but next time I will try to make a video louder 👍❤️
Thank you! My phone plays most videos from everyone's channels just fine, but still sometimes a video is very quiet. I appreciate your work.🙂👍.
@@regular-joe Thank you for the feedback, I will pay more attention to sound next time, it is an important note 🙏🤗

The journey to a language begins with a single word ❤
Thanks for your work but could you translate at least once in English please?
