OMG...! I can't stand to see electrical wires near these animals because when you least expect it, a fatal accident happens, which nobody wants. Moka is undoubtedly a sweet boy who delights us with his pranks and who I want to see with health and happiness forever 🦦💯♥️🤗
Thank you for sharing Moka's day with us, he's a really sweet boy and it's good of you to share him with us!❤ I hope you will allow me to share my observations with you, on what I think would be positive improvements in Moka's life. Otters are social animals and being kept alone in a cage might not be the best for his mental health. I know you do this for practical reasons, but it is sure to cause depression in the long run. If you can provide him with a bigger swimming pool, I think it would be a positive thing. Perhaps a small wading pool? Teasing him with the fish oil might seem like play to you, but it can cause him un-needed stress. Make sure he is safe from the dogs, again it causes stress if he has to stay on guard against them. As Xiko mentioned electrical wires are a clear danger and must be considered at all times. Also, uncooked chicken can be the cause of health problems and a possible threat to his life. Please consider these thoughts as suggestions on how to help Moka to have the best life possible and not as personal criticisms. Thanks again for your time making this video. You seem like a great person and hopefully you will share more of Moka and your loving care for your beautiful otter being. ❤🦦👍
thanks for your feedback. - in the video, moka is just woke up. and he likes sleep in the cage than outside. we always let moka play outside in the garden. sometime play with a dog that with him since a baby. - fish oil makes also makes moka happy but on normal dousage. - wires is waterproof but sorry for that. and thanks for worrying. - otter is supposed to be eat a raw meal. that chicken meat is already tested for the hygiene from the meat shop. i gave moka raw meat since he a pup and no health damages, Otter endurance is better than lions that have been kept at home. - Otter's mental health is not weak as human, otter has smart adaptation to meet his social needs. we always play with him, go outside, also meet the other otters.
Fandy, (I apologize if I have your name wrong)... Nick and his girlfriend over at "Splash the Otter" are trying to build a set of appropriate guidelines for otter care and to discourage those who are not aware/prepared/capable of caring for otters in a long-term setting. Too many people want otters simply because they are "cute" and it ends in tragedy, when they tire of being caretakers. Those of you that are responsible "owners" can have a positive effect for the otters welfare, both in Bali and in all of Indonesia (and beyond), if you put your minds together. You can set the example by sharing your knowledge and guiding others to make the best decisions. With great respect. David B.
Thanks for suggestion. I always support positive thing especially educate people who want to pet an otter. But for banning exotic pet trade is useless in indonesia.
